I'd kill for a "true" Ashcroft solo album. No more of this United Nations of Sound nonsense. It's been way too fucking long.  I think for a hell of a lot of people on here, that would be one very, very wet dream. Honestly, it'd be absolutely soaking. |

This is from his acoustic gig back in 2006 in upstairs hall of Paradiso. Also the gig was livestreamed on the legendary Fabchannel back in time. I saw him for the first time when he supported Coldplay in Gelredome in Arnhem in 2005. It was him alone acoustic and I was really happy to see him, much more excited than seeing Coldplay. (I did like them back in time, but now I can't stand Christ Martin). I had the ticket for his Paradiso gig in 2006, but couldn't make it. It took me 4 years until I see him again in 2010 (but with The United Nations). Officer Jim Kurring will laugh again, but he was one of the nicest and gentlest musicians I ever met. |
