Wait...are we all from Ohio? Because I was thinking about going there. yes. God bless. See, now I'm trying to remember why I ordered it from the official store in the first place. Maybe I thought the 3-disc set was only available there or something. Sigh.

Which Zep stuff are you referring to? There have been many different releases of Zep stuff and some of them sound very different. The more recent Page/Marino remaster of III is handily bested by the Classic Records 200g vinyl that Bernie Grundman cut from the original un-eq'd master tapes. The early CD masterings by Barry Diament are no slouch either, but I'd put my cut of III up against every other version and bet good money that just about anyone with average hearing will notice the differences. Every other version sounds like a recording, the 200g Classic vinyl sounds like you're IN the recording. But hey, enjoy the non-tech stuff I guess? I'm referring to all zep stuff. And I enjoy , probably since wayyyyyy before u were born lol, let me explain this using another analogy, to you watching a movie on an old beat up VHS is the exact same experience as watching it in the cinema in IMAX on an actual 15-perf/70mm film strip. This is the equivalent of what you're suggesting which is that every version of any Zeppelin release will sound identical to any other version, nothing could be FURTHER from the truth. I was born in 1973, how long you or I have been alive is completely irrelevant.

My copy of Japanese edition (3 CD's) with poster just arrived. You would really make my day if could perhaps check up the liner notes in the booklet and see what credits are given to the bonus tracks, Shakermaker (Slide Up Mix) and Bring It On Down (Monnow Valley), e.g. recording location & time/producer etc... I haven't seen those infos posted anywhere yet. And I'm surely not gonna spent one cent more for any Definitely Maybe reissues, at least not within the upcoming let's say 10 years. Thanks in advance!

Do we know why Bring It On Down (live) from the Shakermaker single isn't on disc 2?
Maybe it's because of that god awful "good evening Great Britain, hello!" intro?
That intro always makes me cringe

My copy of Japanese edition (3 CD's) with poster just arrived. Is there any difference to the normal 3 disk? (Obv except the 2 tracks and lyrics booklet?) Is the poster part of the set or from the record shop?

Spotted the Super deluxe in HMV Liverpool yesterday. £89.99. Saving quite a bit of money if you're not bothered about the Whatever 12"

Saving quite a bit of money if you're not bothered about the Whatever 12" I've not brought the remaster yet but the thought of having all 3 albums in the box sets is appealing to me (but not at £110 a pop) so that's quite interesting, hopefully they'll keep decreasing. I wouldn't mind paying £60-70

That intro always makes me cringe It's a BBC recording so maybe there were licensing issues... or maybe they want to put it on a 'Live at the BBC' album.

I saw the 3 cd remaster version at a generic record store at a mall, so i guarantee the shops on High St. would have it and possibly have the deluxe box set as well. God bless.

I haven't opened it yet, been busy since last night, but will do it for you and fellow Oasis fans asap. My copy of Japanese edition (3 CD's) with poster just arrived. DM album artwork with the release date of this one in Japan.

I just opened my copy of Japanese deluxe limited 3 CD set and checked the liner notes. There's no information about 2 bonus tracks. 3 CD set is exactly the same as the original one (UK/European edition). Only difference is that there's an another liner notes written in Japanese with the translation for all the tracks except bonus tracks.

If you right click in iTunes, they list the following as composers:
John Lennon/Neil Innes/Noel Gallagher/Paul McCartney
I had a chuckle at the John Lennon/Paul McCartney reference, unless there is/are track(s) that actually deserve their recognition for legal reasons(?)

Yep, and Innes is credited because of Whatever (in case someone didn't know).
