I dont wish he still had his 94 voice..not really a fan of that era, i'd be more than happy if he got his 2000 voice back

All I want released eventually is the 8 minute guitar laden, Liam singing epic of Record Machine. Apparently it does exist. That would blow my head off. They really blew it with this one.

Oasis officially uploaded a HQ version: This clip perfectly illustrates just how far Liam's vocals have come over the last 20 years. Man I wish he even sounded remotely like this still. Guys like Eddie Vedder, Bono and Thom Yorke are lucky they still sound like they did in 1994. Honestly...I really don´t like you. If you want to listen to 94 liam, listen to DM, if you don´t like his voice now, don´t listen. But comparing liam to bono, eddie vedder and thom yorke.... ? what´s wrong with you?

Eddie, Bono and Thom and many other singers, these guys aren't "lucky", they are professionals, only that, they always knew that a singer must take care of his voice.
Liam wasn't, he didn't take care of his voice, he has abused of his vocal chords over the years without ever realised that.

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03x1t0kListen from 2:21:00 The track was originally a BBC live broadcast, so I'm not sure if the mix played here is from the BBC's recording, or if it's been tarted up for the CD release.

Anybody else loving the rolling tin on the official store?!
I'm not a smoker anymore but got one anyway, I have a feeling a few years down the line these will be worth a pretty penny.

can't believe im so late to the party (and that the demo tape is still available - wonder just how limited it will really be??). just bought/pre ordered the demo tape and the 3-disc set. i agree with those saying that it's not worth the extra for the box set if you don't do vinyl - pictures and keyrings and tote bags don't really do it for me for that much extra money lol - even when theyre presented in nice shiny boxes:) although, that said, if I get unexpected overtime or win the lottery or something ill be buying the thing lol. I get the point that all the music (bar half the world away demo/live, and paris in-store??)is already out there, but remastered within a new set like this for 16 quid or so makes it well worth getting. at 10 quid that demonstration tape is a bargain as well - given that a few of the tracks don't feature in the main set (bring it on down demo and spaceman demo), and that it's got linear notes and so on, plus the rarity stigma (even if itl end up on ebay forever lmao). one thing bothers me though - surely noel and co will know about the recent(ish) wider leak of the safety copy of masters recordings by now?? for content and rarity they blow this official release out of the water - makes me wish they'd gone all out and officially released the whole sessions remastered - stick those on cds in the box set instead of keyrings and such, and theyl sell shitloads more copies! positively can not wait for wtsmg and bhn later in the year! dare we hope to finally get demos from both?? if the content on those releases mirrors what's on this one then there's a pretty good chance I reckon:)

My only slight complaint about this release is that I think, instead of the badges, tote bag and the like, the deluxe box should have another vinyl or two containing the B-sides and Whatever. I would rather pay the money for that than the trinkets they're including.

Anybody else get the UNCUT special? Got it yesterday and it seems pretty decent. Loads of old interviews reprinted and new reviews of all the albums. Some of the scores are a bit off mind. *** for The Importance of Being Idle and **** for The Meaning of Soul is just wrong in any universe. Listen Up only got ** also... Aside from that it seems worth it.

Aside from that it seems worth it. I've already got most of the articles in their original form but it's worth getting. I do get the feeling though that some of the writers who have re-reviewed the albums don't actually like Oasis that much.
