...I dont think MJ gave himself the label of the king of pop, elizabeth taylor introduced him as the 'king of pop, rock and soul' at some awards thing and it just sort of stuck... Story goes that Jackson was apparently invited to that awards show and insisted he would only appear if he received an award crowning him "King Of Pop". The show producers were so eager to please him they agreed. The King of Pop status was never self proclaimed.. Also, didn't Elvis fall in love with his future wife when she was just 14 years old? and she wasn't the only one People seem to only remember MJ's issues lol..when Elvis and Lennon had their own problems. Face it ppl..bringing up personal problems with Elvis and MJ doesn't make any sense when you look at the life they lived |

Here is that video I was mentioning earlier. From the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards. Britney Spears was introducing Michael Jackson to wish him a Happy Birthday. He goes on stage but instead of saying thank you, he accepts the award for "Artist of the Millennium" award. That was only something Britney said in her birthday wish, not an ACTUAL award. Cocaine, vicodin and morphine are a hell of a combination.  Also, those are some bitching catcher's shin guards!  |

like the comment at the bottom of page states this maid stole money off her own nephews etc, more tabloid garbage churned up by people wanting attention. Funny she felt so 'threatened' yet she still stole loads of items from MJs house including coincidentally a sketch of elvis. |

People seem to ridicule Michael who is the only one out of the 3 to have been proven innocent on all the things you are stating..the things John Lennon and Elvis have done are facts and I think thats the biggest reason why some people hated MJ, they were hoping for one outcome and got another one.

Even The Stones did the "underage" thing. Cameron Crowe even hints on it during his film Almost Famous. Penny Lane was 16 years old in the film. Russell Hammond was 24-26 and they had a relationship 2 years prior to the films start.  |

Just read this thread . Some of you are either real young or just naive ,, if you pay 20 million there's is smoke to the fire , nobody not even MJ is gonna pay that sum to stop sharks !! And being found not guilt does not mean innocent ....may I refer you to John gottis 3 aquittials , Casey Anthony , oj, klaus Von bulow ....all of these people probably were guilty ( gotti they finally got ) but being found not guilty is not innocent .....anyone in this forum ....I ask you ,.....if you were a grown 30 something would you invite little boys to sleep in your bed  .....get real ..
