Ya know Liam does still speak the truth about one thing without question .... I too can down a bottle of tequila, jack , STOLI on the trot in a night and wake up no hangover and its on again ...but fucking red wine man all the sugar gets your head banged up next day he's dead balls on . Worst hangovers ever ere drinking wine ,
Thanks for the share
Edit. Everyone knows I love Liam who knows me here Noel as well. Didn't mean he wasn't speaking truth about other stuff l it's just as we know Liam has spoken of his sobriety , not doing gear , now he is back talking about he still does , can't take him serious in that category , but he is right about the wine

I'm pretty sure they called Bonehead "the original bass player" of Oasis. And a great bass player he was...

Interesting interview. There are points where Liam just sounds so bitter. Which is sad to see. Even Andy, who probably has a good enough beef to still be pissed at Noel has moved on. Liam is the only one parading this idea of Noel holding back songs and working behind the scenes. Then brings up Bonehead, Guigsy, and Whitey. However, the interviewer really pushed him. Liam is completely right about the Rolling Stones. It's insane how much they're charging. And hope one days he's able to kick the drugs for good. Not just for his vocals, but for his health too.

Worst hangovers ever ere drinking wine , got to disagree with Liam and you here mate from a personal perspective - whiskey is the biggest headache 'day after' medicine there is - I hardly ever get a hangover since i took up the fruit of the vine Maybe it's something to do with getting older, there's that theory about how your alcohol choices change and not only because you tend to be able to afford different things either. Cheap real ugly bottom of the range 'branded' wine can be a hangover maker, but if you stick to a nice bottle and find out what you like it's the best drink in the world! The issue of 'drug use' with Liam seems to be tainted with two views on the board - those who know nothing about drugs other than what they've read/ heard and those that know what they're talking about and have their opinions formed by experience, either their own use or those of people close to them. 'drugs' are something that mankind has been into since the first 'poisonous' mushroom got picked and the first fermented apple got someone drunk. There's quiet a case to be made by anthropologists that drug use was the consciousness-expanding thing that fired neurons together in early brains and led to explosive mental evolutionary leaps. Today there are very few people who live their lives without a drug to fall back on/rely on/enjoy - even some of the most religious people in the world seem to have the biggest coffee and cigs habits -but for what people lump together as 'drugs' on this board it kind of depends on your quality of life, mental state and how good the gear is you've got. Plenty of doctors are functioning heroin addicts, and the amount of cocaine use in any media industry might not be at quite the heights of past decades but it is still more 'the norm' than not - queue up to any 'backstage' toliet at any music/fashion/art event anywhere and discover for yourself! Truth is Keith Richards only gave up when he fell out the tree a few years back, and of course there's ways to take coke that don't fuck your voice up and don't involve needles (see rod Stewart book, Charlatans) The upshot is that old adages are ALWAYS right - 'a little of what you fancy does you good' and 'all things in moderation'. don't be wishing Liam gives up anything 'for his health' - he's fucking 40 not 75 - and enjoy yourselves in whatever way turns you on, as long as you don't harm anyone else in the process.

yeah there were a few photos from a couple of months ago where he had a few bottles of champagne in his hand and eyes like saucers, blatantly on the gear that night.

Must be your metabolism fair play , I just know me and most everyone I know that drink or drank hardcore , get more hangovers with red wine , but in the end who really cares A long as you had fun with it As for the rest I don't what to say to you about drugs except other than heroin I did them all no regrets won't do anything again. But weed under special circumstances mescaline , I loved it that much , don't judge anyone who uses , not my style As for disagreeing if its cause you get hangovers on whiskey as I said FairPlay , I never judged Liam frankly what he chooses to do is his choice ain't gonna give a rats ass not that impressed with anyone's mine included drug expierences , but Liam had most definatly talked outta both sides of his mouth regarding his drug use over the years so whatever he says I take it depends on what angle he is trying to promote I do agree with what your saying kinda deep ...cool thanks for the post and being honest

will check the those interviews out, the old rascal! Just to add to my previous post, 'older people' are probably on more drugs than 'the youth'! all prescription and all giving their pushers, I mean doctors, huge pay packets As someone who is " older " I can honestly say not me .never had a script nor did or do any of my friends ,we chopped them out thru our own resources , copped , ludes , mesc , sheets , tulinolls , whatever it may be thru our own people , don't deal with doctors ,glad I stopped , and glad I never dealt with doctors to impersonal to me , As for the interviews there all over you just got to dig , when day Liam's a tea totler who can't handle drugs anymore , another he's bang on it , go figure if it entertains you that's great , that's all Liam's quotes really are entertainment , which is why I think he is so much smarter than most think .. As for older people using there pushers , maybe where you come from , but not in my circles , doctors are not needed , or trusted Edit : in Florida the younger not the older people are the ones that use doctors , the meth labs that are illegal and get busted are usulally run by 30 and over and Florida is the oxy highway in USA ...it's the young that run to the doctors on mommy and daddy's medical dime to fake illness to cop scrips here

that's interesting man about the young and doctors where you are... I'm probably your age/older and same, don't trust doctors and avoid - but here there's a real industry in getting (mainly even older) people on prozac, statins, beta blockers, blood pressure uppers and reducers, and that's before the little blue pill gets a look in. for the youth the big thing in the UK is 'legal highs', everything from mdma-alikes to speed and charlie clones, all with a molecule altered so that they're two weeks ahead of being banned, all sold as 'not for human consumption' by legitmate business who buy them in from some chinese bathtub manufacturer. very strange, whole internet forums with psychonauts writing about the differences in come up times and so on. bit of a minefield but no one (at all) has died from it yet although the media make out they have and then print a 'page five' retraction a few weeks later saying it was actually a heroin overdose or something else... if i was younger I'd probably be right into it meantime my wine habit gets more expensive!

The interviewer should get his facts straight before interviewing people. He's obviously just sucking up! I hate that! All along I'm getting the feeling he wants to trash Noel with Liam.
"The Death of You and Me" has nothing to do with Liam. Not only did Noel say so but the lyrics are pretty obvious!
And Bonehead wasn't Oasis "original bass player".
Geez...

Tell me about it , I'mon hiatus right now saving a boat load of cash , I'm training for amateur MMA fights here , I don't believe in supplements so I don't use then , just eat lean protein no PhDs or over the counter garbage. So not drinking has saved alot of cash It's weird what there into these days ill tell you that , no question your right man And like you if I was younger who says I wouldn't be bang in , I was in early 80 s so why would I change ? It's why I don't judge my nephew just advise , so far he listens that's all I can ask . Cool. To see someone in my age bracket , I hope but doubt highly your older , but I hope you are , me my birthdate is rubber soul era , yours ?

Since when did Noel sack Bonehead and Guigsy? Since Liam said so, duh. I don't think fact plays much of a role when Liam is truly on a rant.

I don't think fact plays much of a role when Liam is truly on a rant. They all went mental when Noel said "No-one in Oasis gave a fuck about the fans". They've been unsurprisingly quiet at Liam telling Oasis fans who've not rushed out to buy Beady Eye to "fuck off". But, of course, when Liam says something disparaging it's a joke.

Indeed but he'd certainly know what happened to Bonehead and Guigsy better than anyone at this forum. It's not like there aren't stories going all the way back to 99 that Noel was fed up of Bonehead taking Liam out on booze ups while they were recording.
