We all have opinions, but that order is crazy. She's Electric for example is a great song, but better than Cast No Shadow? ah no. it's just my list, not yours, crazy shit isn't it?!?! in a strange way, this forum is just like the oasis fans outside, which only knows "wonderwall" and "don't look back in anger", here everybody knows all the tunes, but it seems, that lists have to be expected in a order, that everybody likes or nearly everybody has in a similar or same way glad that i'm able to surprise some people. Thats why I said its your list, people CAN choose what they like, But my point is that I dissagree. And it is crazy that someone prefers SE over CNS, dont get ur knickers in a twist!

There really isn't all that much between She's Electric and Cast No Shadow.

This is hard!! The album that introduced me to Oasis...
1. Champagne Supernova 2. Don't Look Back in Anger 3. Wonderwall 4. Morning Glory 5. Some Might Say 6. Cast No Shadow 7. Roll With It 8. She's Electric 9. Hello 10. Hey Now! 11. Bonehead's Bank Holiday
I think I must have changed this something like 20 times. And it still doesn't look quite right lol. All I knew was the top 3 had to be those ones, because they have that indefinable and epic, timeless quality to them. I don't think I'll ever tire of hearing those songs, because they take me straight back in time, and their arrangement, lyrics, etc. are just amazing to me. And the kids today still listen to them.

And the Rankings for Round 2 are in!
Reading through the rankings, there wasn't a clear winner from an overview, and the results are quiet interesting [though Hey Now! was obvious] Also, Champagne Supernova as 4th for a long time.
1) Champagne Supernova - 121 2) DLBIA - 133 3) Wonderwall - 140 4) Some Might Say - 143 5) Morning Glory - 146 6) Cast no Shadow - 201 7) Hello - 215 8) She's Electric - 258 9) Roll With It - 263 10) Hey now! - 322
It was incredibly close between Wonderwall, Some might Say and Morning Glory in the end!

I think Cast No Shadow, along with Some Might Say and Morning Glory, is the best song on that album. I think its far superior to Champagne Supernova.
Dunno what it is about Supernova, it leaves me feeling empty - it's not an Oasis song that has ever appealed to me to be honest.

Thanks for tallying the rankings. The results are pretty much what I expected. The DM results surprised me more. Very keen to see how the others turn out ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Don't Look Back In Anger - Fav Song of all time Morning Glory - Live and album versions just pumped Wonderwall - Obvious hit song - a tad repedetive though Champagne Supernova - Amazing lyrics and guitar Some Might Say - Classic Oasis Rock Song Hello - Fucking love this song Cast No Shadow - Favourite song to sing (AT THE MOMENT) She's Electric - Catchy song Roll With It - Alright but a bit shit Hey Now - Shit lyrics, why did they put this on?

1. Don't Believe In Anger (Amazing song, suits Noel's voice perfectly, a real sing along) 2. Morning Glory (Love this one, excellent live, a real classic) 3. Wonderwall (Class song but suffers from being overplayed over the years) 4. Hello (A perfect opener, love both the album and live versions) 5. Champagne Supernova (Beautiful song, not too overblown unlike All Around The World) 6. Some Might Say (Great song but awful nonsense lyrics) 7. Roll With It (Good but not a stand out moment) 8. Cast No Shadow (Underrated song, loved hearing this on the Stop The Clocks Tour) 9. She's Electric (Left the setlist too soon but great to hear it again on the Heathen Chemistry Tour) 10. Hey Now! (Suffers by being on the same album as the above, not a bad song but forgettable compared to the rest) 11. Excerpts (A bit pointless, only there to make up the numbers, a full version of The Swamp Song would have had a place. I liked that song when played as the set opener during the tour).
An amazing album, so consistent but the songs are a little too similar. I feel that it would only have been improved if Acquiesce or The Masterplan had been on there. Just goes to show the quality of the songs of that era if those songs were merely B Sides. The Masterplan album proves that when combined the B Sides could produce an album almost as good as this.

Bump.
1) Don't Look Back in Anger 2) Champagne Supernova 3) Wonderwall 4) Morning Glory 5) Some Might Say 6) Cast No Shadow 7) Hello (awesome opener) 8) Roll With It 9) She's Electric 10) Hey Now! (guilty pleasure of mine)
1-5 are classics, 6 is very underrated, 7-8 both hold their own place on the album well, and 9-10 are sort of fillers, but still have a nice appeal to it. Like I mentioned, Hey Now! is a go-to song to carry over my music listening. Really basic song that does no harm, but isn't anything to really write home about. Acquiesce would've been swell to replace Hey Now!, and The Masterplan in place of She's Electric.
Nevertheless, all of the songs are awesome to play along, and listen to, which makes this album an absolute classic. Love it, love it, love it!
