Yeah they should be able to handle it. He finished nearly all the gig anyway. You missed three songs. Hardly the same as getting a piece of shit instead of a big mac now is it you utter plum.

Who should deal with it? The fans? Why? If you paid for a big mac and you got a piece of shit, would you also have to deal with it? If I paid for a big mac and got a piece of shit, I would be happy with the improvement!

"He finished nearly all the gig anyway" haha, fuck off you tool.
If his throat is fucked, then don't do the gig and refund the tickets. This is the worst way to handle the situation. Give a half arsed performance, then walk off without a word. It's another way of telling Danish fans to fuck off.

His performance doest look half arsed, just looks like he's doing his best but struggling with his voice. This isn't rocket science mate. Although if the fans in that gig were anything like you he would have been well within his rights to tell you to fuck off before leaving.

If Liam had any intention of treating the fans like myself that turned up to the gig with respect, he could easily have said in a polite/cool way, "Look guys, i've got a bit of a bad throat, gonna do me best but you're gonna have to sing along, so come on lets have it". From the first song he wasn't into it at all, and as I said, spend the whole gig talking to the sound guy.
He didn't want to do the gig, and he should have canceled. No matter how bad an oasis/beady eye gig i've been to before, i've never wished my money back, but i paid 110 euro for two tickets, and i'd much rather have my money back and avoided seeing the voice of my youth and the rockn roll star of my generation acting like that.

But I think he sounded alright until his voice broke down, don't think it was a "half-arsed" performance. Even though he didn't say much, but in the end you're not there to see him talk - you're there to see him sing magic tunes.

I didn't disagree at all with BDI or criticise them when they pulled out of Zurich last week after 3 songs and Liam apologized on Twitter. He did what he could and tried to make amends to the fans. And apparently at other gigs he apologized to the crowd for rough vocals apparently.
But leaving without a wave to the crowd? Or a word to them (if he was still able to make a peep)? And, don't get me wrong, this isn't only a criticism of Liam. Andy and Gem are both members of the group with microphones. Not a word from them? And not addressing it later by twitter or on the website?
I realise that he disappointed with the fans...but I feel sorry for people like jesper and those people on facebook that travelled to see them and paid quite a bit of money being let down without a by-your-leave.
The average rock concert is 90-120 mins.
Realistically if BDI are only going to be playing for 75 mins including encore...it isn't absurd for the crowd to EXPECT that there be an encore. But they shorted the crowd 20 minutes and didn't even address it. That's a bit shabby.
If Liam lost his voice and it was unavoidable...whatever...but how they handled it was indefensible.

It wa s a good gig last night. I found Liam was trying to pull the best of him out. To be honest I was in completely in "Noel mood" since I got his album last weekend, but if you see Liam standing and singign on the stage, you really realize it's Liam Gallagher.
I feel terribly sorry for the people who couldn't see them even they got the tickets. I really hope and I think the band should give the fans another chance to be able to see them.
I personally think there's no class for fans like A: because you're from the UK. B: because you just got into them.
and I agree with k007oasis. I really think both Noel and Liam are enjoying playing their music more than ever now and that's a great thing.
I got the setlist last night again. gonna post a pic later today.

Nice to hear that he was on form! The Moons btw: They were good (supporting BDI) in Copenhagen! Hadn't heard them before, but you got a strong Rascals/Arctic Monkeys vibe from their music and especially the last song of the set made an instant impact on the listener (or something). Liked the guitarist's haircut as well And the singer looks a lot like Gem.

They're quite good. the band's front man Andy Croft is well-known by Weller fans for years now. I just saw them last night supporting BE. I thought the guitarist of the band was really good.

Speaking of Weller, he was there as well. He came out at the back, someone said "Paul Weller!" and I thought "ha, prolly talking about Gem's roadie", but it really was Paul, was a bit shocked so I just stared haha.
Liam lost his voice at the end of The Morning Son again, didn't he? His voice suddenly dropped away during the last line, I think...

The consistency of his vocal performances is really quite astounding given what expectations were before they had played a gig. I would have struggled to believe his voice would sound this good at any gigs, let alone at the end of a tour that has been going since March. Compared to the last Oasis tours we really have woken up in dreamland.

I didnt go to the copenhagen show because of the price..
In my opinion its unprofessional not to say anything to the fans. Even if they're not jumping around they still paid 70$ each. 55 mins - i would have been pissed too. They're not playing oasis songs, which i respect very much, they all said they would have to start over and go out and prove themselves in smaller venues. This behaviour dont help their poor standing in denmark at all. Denmark is crappy music wise, but after this i doubt even the very loyal beady eye and oasis fans would bother going to another show. Which probably means they won't come back. A shame for all parties really.
