The thing that prevents this from truly sounding Be Here Nowish is the distinct lack of a huge, arena-ready chorus.
Nonetheless, the song's growing on me a little.

I finally understand where we're getting the PIATM comparison from. It's the drumming. The drumming is practically lifted right from PIATM. Listen carefully, and you'll hear it in the background.
Maybe this was obvious to everyone already, but I just finally realized why

I like it. Nothing spectacular and it's not good enough to be an album track but it's a decent B-Side. Best B-Side since the HC days I think.

Probably my least favourite Noel penned track... not a fan in the slightest.

I really like it. It's not what I was expecting but after listening to it a few times I can say it has surprised me in a good way. There's something about the song that's not ''Noel'' at all but on the other hand it remainds me of the type of song of the ''Be here now'' era. It's a good b-side.

I don't know why Noel keeps using the ''sunshine'' thing. He's used it in both new songs... does he think Liam's gonna sing them or what? By the way, as I said, I like the song but I have to admit the lyrics are pretty bad.. I think Noel still can write amazing tunes but not amazing lyrics as he used to. It's like if he's trying to write less simple lyrics these days and the result is worse. I really liked those simple and nonsense Noel's lyrics that had a lot sense in their way. This comment is probably boring and shit so that's all... hahaha!

let me break this song down once and for all
VERSE: MR TAMBOURINE MAN (DYLAN) CHORUS: RAIN (THE BEATLES)
CHORUS DRUMBEAT: TICKET TO RIDE (Beatles) VERSE DRUMBEAT: A bell will ring (VERSE)
Probably all in the mind borrows the drum beat from Tomorrow never knows (beatles)
And although I have broken this song down bit by bit in terms of influence, I think it's a great song.

So it is a Gallagher/Dylan/Lennon/McCartney/Archer tune!

I'd say anything post 2002 is Gallagher/Dylan/Lennon/Mccartney/Archer. . .
