Guitars like in A Bell Will Ring.
I think Liam's vocals would bring this song to a higher level. Even this day.

Like someone mentioned, Verses are very good but lacks a decent chorus. I Like the raaaaiiiin bit at the start but you get a bit bored of it as the song goes on. The good rebel with Liam's vocals? hmmm

John Lennon called Zane Lowe. He wants his tune back.

Another great song from the Heathen Chemistry era (Yes, I'm one of the few who enjoys to listen to High Horse Lady once in a while), though I think this one is better than High Horse Lady.
First impressions is that it's a good song. I really like the "Rain, like rain" bit's of the song. Catchy stuff! Also appreciate a well produced b-side, and not some lazy stuff like Sitting Here In Silence.

It sounds a LOT like a BHN b-side...and like a more bass heavy version of Noel's "merry christmas everybody" cover.
'Let My Baby's Love Come Down Like Rain' part sounds like
'she'll be up and rock and rolling with the rest' in Merry Xmas Everybody

I like it anyway. First listen I wasn't too impressed but I've listened to it a good few times now and I like it. Not the greatest song, but that doesn't make it shit.

Good b-side, just it, it is one of his songs made for Liam to sing, Liam would take this song to another level.
6,5 IMO.

To put it in context: The last proper bside we got from Noel was TSHB. Nothing against that incomplete and obvious Beatles rip off, but I take TGR over that any day.
It has the BHN-era bsides written all over it: Step Out, The Fame, Flashbax....that kind of vibe....And seeing as I'm a big fan of those songs and that era, I'm more than happy.

Step Out's Morning Glory era, was originally going to be on the album. Agree with the general point though, although it defo sounds like All in the Mind as well

I like it. I hear a little Mucky Fingers in it. A little Bob Dylanish.
