I struggle to rank the albums in any kind of order, to be truthful. A Rush Of Blood To The Head was perhaps marginally better than Parachutes, but the band sounded so different to me on X&Y (and do now on Viva La Vida) that I'm not sure I enjoy any of the four albums comparitively more than I do the others.

I'm really enjoying the new Coldplay album. I think it's a notch up from X&Y. My top 3 tracks so far are Cemeteries of London, Violet Hill, and Strawberry Swing.

I just got this album, and now i can't believe the negative response after hearing it. I never got X&Y, but i much prefer it to their first two, i think it's much more interesting

Bought the album today. There are a few tracks I'm not particularly too wild about. But there are a few others on there that are damn good.

listened to it over and over today, i personally think its brilliant, superb moments of melody, brilliantly produced, and i think one that will age better than X & Y (i did enjoy x & y alot, but just feel that often its over cooked, and sounds like a sci fi romance soundtrack but still a very good album in its own right, regardless of hype). I like the direction, and look forward to the tour. couldnt agree more! ;D lookin forward to birmingham!

I just wish they'd stop playing Clocks. It's been done, lads. Move on. It's reached the point where I actively skip it on my iPod.

They probably should. If Oasis insist on playing Wonderwall on their next tour, it had better be backed by a full orchestra.

What's wrong with wanting a bit of variation in a band's live set anyway? Oasis have spent every major tour for almost fifteen years playing all or most of Cigarettes & Alcohol, Morning Glory, Live Forever, Wonderwall, Acquiesce, Champagne Supernova, and Don't Look Back In Anger. I've seen them all played at least four or five times now, and I wouldn't mind a change.
Besides, they've got a great back catalogue. It wouldn't be the end of the world if they dropped two or three of them, would it?
Same goes for Clocks. It's been played to death for about six years now and I'm fucking sick of hearing it.
