My favourite off the album. Pure blues with Star Wars references in the lyrics. Wormed it's way into my head and hasn't come out yet! I'm A Wheels The One That 20 Second Clip That Maxi Gonzalez Put On Twitter Yesterday Right? X Nah, I think that's One Day At A Time. Wheel is slower, more riffage. Think smokey bar, New Orleans style.

My review of the album The opening track, "Raise Your Hands," sets the tone for the album with its infectious energy and anthemic chorus. Gallagher's distinctive vocals soar over driving guitars and pulsating rhythms, creating a sense of urgency and excitement that grabs the listener's attention from the outset. "Mars to Liverpool" follows, offering a change of pace with its introspective lyrics and atmospheric instrumentation. Gallagher's emotive delivery imbues the song with a sense of longing and nostalgia, drawing the listener into its evocative narrative. "One Day at a Time" is a poignant ballad that showcases Gallagher's vulnerability and introspection. The stripped-down arrangement allows his vocals to take center stage, conveying a sense of raw emotion and honesty that resonates deeply with the listener. "I'm a Wheel" injects a dose of rock 'n' roll swagger into the album, with its driving rhythm section and infectious guitar riffs. Gallagher's confident vocals exude charisma and attitude, making this track a standout moment on the album. "Just Another Rainbow" is a sprawling epic that showcases Squire's songwriting prowess and musical ambition. Clocking in at over five minutes, this track takes the listener on a sonic journey through lush melodies and intricate arrangements, culminating in a cathartic climax that leaves a lasting impression. "Love You Forever" is a tender and heartfelt ode to love, with Gallagher's emotive vocals and poignant lyrics capturing the complexities of romantic relationships. The soaring chorus is both anthemic and intimate, making this track a standout ballad on the album. "Make It Up As You Go Along" is a lively and infectious track that channels the spirit of classic rock 'n' roll. Gallagher's charismatic vocals and catchy hooks make this song impossible to resist, inviting the listener to sing along and dance along to its irresistible groove. "You're Not the Only One" is a soulful and introspective ballad that showcases Gallagher's emotional depth and vulnerability. The heartfelt lyrics and haunting melodies create a sense of intimacy and connection, drawing the listener into Gallagher's world with its authenticity and sincerity. "I'm So Bored" is a high-energy rocker that captures the restless spirit of youth. Gallagher's electrifying vocals and driving guitars drive the song forward with an infectious energy and urgency that is impossible to ignore. The album closes with "Mother Nature's Song," a haunting and atmospheric track that serves as a fitting conclusion to the journey. Gallagher's evocative vocals and ethereal instrumentation create a sense of introspection and wonder, leaving the listener with a sense of awe and contemplation. Overall, the album is a triumph for Liam Gallagher, showcasing his versatility as an artist and his ability to sing compelling and memorable Squire songs. Close on one or two tracks, miles apart on many others !

Managed to end up with four standing tickets rather than two for Kentish Town Forum. Bit of a long shot but ideally like to swap a pair for a pair of DM London tickets ? Amy interest in this?

There's a Japanese verson of the white vinyl reported on Stop Crying Your heart out with the link but it looks like it's sold out as it's limited to only 300 copies. Mind you, with no extra songs I'm not bothered about it just to get the Japanese strip on the side it's not worth it. It's not Japanese, just Assai Records version with an Obi strip.

A bit odd to not have more detailed track by track reviews yet with a star rating The Oasis Podcast has a copy of the album and he said on the last podcast (if I recall correctly) that the restriction on reviews is lifted on the 18th. It's embargoed till the 19th.

This is the first record where Liam's voice has a genuine competition for lead, Squire smashes it whether it be a blues track cream-esqe rocker or classic Manc sound.
It's real good.

I really want this album to be good, and so far I believe in it. You won't be disappointed. Squire is on top form!

Was quite short (an hour) but entertaining. Ever the optimist I was hoping he would play at least one song on acoustic, but as soon as I saw the stage I knew it wouldn't be. Noel did answer a question that has been debated several times on this forum about what the lineup would of the reunion: www.instagram.com/reel/CwVREgZt8zI/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Has anyone bought the “Liam Gallagher lowlands vinyl”? It’s got Nothing Nowhere on it and based on the YouTube recordings (shit quality) it seems to be a cleaned up version, they’ve somehow made it more studio sounding. I can’t believe it hasn’t been ripped off the vinyl and uploaded yet. Yeah I've got it, it's not the highest quality, but perhaps better than the YouTube versions. I haven't ripped a vinyl in some time but will try and do so, got a busy weekend tho! http://instagram.com/p/ClGjKQ9sR08

He is a prominent collector who was gifted something special and got a bit excited before, I presume, he realised what he had or someone informed him of the value. He's a decent guy, and not a conman. It's no doubt a shame that these tapes are squirrelled away meaning that the vast majority of fans don't get too hear the songs. However with the value in Oasis collectables and unreleased songs it's completely understandable why these things are not public. It's a shame that the forum didn't mobilise and collectively buy it. Lennon2217 Maybe next time you should lead the fund raising for the next tape, for the collective good?

Guys the seller knows Oasis inside out, it's not Angel Child or any other heard song. It's unreleased. But besides the point. I don't think we'll get to hear it personally Well until details emerge I’m gonna assume it’s a song that is known but just not known to the seller or whoever had it originally. Dem da breaks. It's definitely an unreleased song. Technically it's now a never to be released song.

This is a brilliant gig, Jim. I was tempted to going to see them for quite some time, but finally will make it in October. My better half is ready for 2 hours lasting gig and he doesn't mind it all, so do I. Thank you for the link Mimmi, really enjoyed the new album so this will be good to watch. Do you recommend any other of their albums? I have heard the odd song on 6Music but not completely familiar with them. Hey Jim, As an intro to the band Tepid Peppermint Wonderland is a great starting point as it's a best of collection of the early stuff upto 2008. My favourite period of the band is the late nineties, Thank God For Mental Illness, Take It From The Man! And Give It Back are all fantastic albums. Of the later period Revelation is probably my favourite. So much to choose from!! Haha

Spinning the new album this morning and it's another classic. I did a count and, I reckon that Fire Doesn't Grow On Trees is their 19th studio album, with their 20th due to be released this year. Anton is an insanely talented writer. It would never happen, but I would love to see a LG collab. Truly one of the greatest under the radar acts of the last 30 years. http://instagram.com/p/CfQ3l-0szek

To me he doesn't seem drunk in those videos, but more soaking it in and not wanting it to end.
He is truly going through a peak of his solo career which no one saw coming. He should enjoy it as much as he can, he deserves it.

'From' it has the same mystery vibe that LOST had. And it got renewed for season 2. I quite liked it. But you get zero answers by the finale of first season. Sounds up my street, what provider is it on?
