If you genuinely want to arrange a crowdfunder and gain the money required you need people to take charge and who have the means to transfer the music. You need a pinned thread adverting this and to go to the “big” twitter and Instagram Oasis/Liam/Noel fan sites to attract attention and the funds. There is no point in saying in a forum I’ll throw £10 in here and there, you won’t make the funds doing it that way. Previous fundraising was achieved by more than one forum contributing and using social media. As it is in an auction whatever funds are raised may not be enough. An option is to contact the seller (Kyle) directly and see if he has a price in mind which would possibly benefit him as there are no auction house fees to be paid etc. If you all want this, people need to work together like the old days which got the fans the following: Noel Demo Tape Unreleased Noel Soundchecks Coming On Strong / Lock All The Doors Tape Gem Demos / Some Might Say / Listen Up Session Good luck… Thanks for the input, Jim. I was just doing a bit of googling and was wondering if any of those pages like GoFundMe could serve to achieve that purpose - ideally, the fund requester (a trusted member of the Oasis communities) had on the day of auction the raised amount in front of him/her to bid, but if the bid is unsuccesful then he/she could trigger on a funding platform the button "goal not met" and funds are sent back to the initial funders. Not sure if any of those platforms has an option like that? Anyone with experience? Also, what was the price tag or rough range on the above mentioned tapes?

Pretty interesting that he says in the interview he does not like his newest album so much cause there are not enough guitars on it, but he thinks the next one will have it. Another indication that there could have been a deal with his record label and the songwriters and Liam having not had much creative influence on the style of the record.

What a surprise, stadium touring bona fide rock band, founded in 1994 sounds better than backing band for a solo artist that has been working together since 2017 Color me shocked Nah, I think the criticism is fair - from hired hands, you can expect that they deliver a professional music performance, some of Liam's band members have dreadful days. Can't be that they are on stage and just are able to play as the average joe guitarist.

wow nice one! but is a bootleg or real copy from big brother? I had it made. I designed all artwork myself and had it pressed. It is the only copy in existence. Nice one, what's the company called that offer those one-off pressing services?

That hat Liam is wearing is awful. The jacket (or shirt?!) is cool though - anyone got a lead what brand it is?

I'm always surprised of people saying "Liam doesn't need the money" - we do have no idea about his financial status. Not wanting to say he seems like an average income earner, but there might be houses, debts, education fees for all his children, ex wifes that still receive money etc. - just from his sales and touring getting immensely rich is not happening, we also know that the Oasis catalogue belongs to Noel. So I guess 500k is definitely money that is not negligible for him as an addition to his regular income. For someone who claims "we have no idea about his financial situation" you then guess 500k is definitely money that is not negligible for him. He's a multi-millionaire. He's just done 2 nights at Knebworth, UK stadium tour, headlined Reading last year. Toured like fuck before that. Plenty of gigs lined up. Private educations, properties? Oh how the other half live. ex wives, debts. You make your bed. That's the sad thing. At the end of the day, above all else, it's about the money. It is true, we do not - but we do have insights into the music industry and how much actually touring costs and how much an artist can approximately take away: www.theguardian.com/music/2017/jan/30/where-does-concert-ticket-money-goIt is not like you do two Knebworth gigs and walk away as a multi millionaire, there are massive logistical and administrative costs involved before and during the show as well as VAT and income and cultural taxes to be paid. It is an illusion, that touring artists are super rich, you have a top tier like the Rolling Stones for example, but Liam does not fall into that category, especially outside of the UK.

Liam claims to be man of the people, rock'n'roll star, slags Noel off for being money orientated. Would Liam have had a field day on Twatter if Noel had done this gig? Probably. Liam doesn't need the money. Greedy soul. Just like the rest of these "idols". It's all about fame, money and ego. From the Foo Fighters is dead. I know he was a friend of Liam and a big fan. FOO Fighters were scheduled on the same bill as Liam on the upcoming tour. Doubt they play now. Crazy. Wow, crazy, I'm reading Dave Grohl's biography now and he portrays him and their relationship as super close. How sad.

genius.com/albums/Liam-gallagher/C-mon-you-know-deluxe-editionI don't know if it's just a coincidence but it says "unreleased" next to better days, the joker and wave while it says "missing lyrics" on every other song that has not been released yet We know that he's going to play 2 new tunes next week so maybe we'll get a single with at least one b-side (possibly 2) It makes sense because the joker and wave are bonus songs I´d say he´s going to play "better days" (new single) and one of his written tunes (c´mon you know o world´s in need) I´d expect a physical release this time but i´ll be pleasantly surprised if we get a b-side... We´ll see soon!! A b-side? Where have you been living in the age of etched vinyl?

Genuine question - Are we interpreting the title to mean Moscow Rules as in "it's the best" , or Moscow Rules as in Marquis Of Queensbury Rules? I would assume the latter Perhaps the title of the song refers to this: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Moscow_rulesI thought it might be a wordplay on the Moscow Mule drink?

Unless Noel is completely mixing out that awful AA opera singer who wails over the top of everything - I'd say he should leave the AA album locked firmly away forever. They’re folk singers, not opera singers lol: Alisha Sufit & Linda Lewis. It would be easy for Noel to edit them out if he could be bothered to finish mixing it. Listen to Gaz’s descriptions of the AA versions of If I Had A Gun and tell me you don’t want to hear these, even with his hyperbole, after living with the stodgy Sardy version for a decade now… 1. Solo / Acoustic VersionThey used vocals from Noel’s original demo as they had the most feeling. Features Gary Lucas on guitar. Cello. Grand finale: builds up with Hey Jude style drums to end with a church choir. (Fuck me if this doesn’t sound like the version we all wanted after hearing the soundcheck all those moons ago!!) 2. Band VersionT-Rex style drums (replacing Noel’s plodding drums). Strangeboy on guitar, sounding like My Sweet Lord. Linda Lewis backing vocals. It’s this version which was remixed into Shoot A Hole. Veering almost back on topic, this would make a great “magic secret” RSD release one day … Is Shoot A Hole actually a remix or the actual band version? I don't see any other reference to it being a remix than what Wikipedia says, but even the credits mention AA as producers and Strangeboy mixing it. I do believe this is the actual band version with the AA? Which would make it the full-on only normal Noel/AA track we have?

What do we reckon is Grohl's role? Really drums? Catchy tune, convinces me more than Wall of Glass (loved it) and Shockwave (was fine with it) According to YT credits it's drums and co-writer. Cool, thanks! Really hoping that Dave is involved with more tracks, that would be awesome - and maybe on drums at the Brit Awards performance?

Potential in that snippet for sure. Yeah, sounds kick-ass. Just worried that after these 10 seconds some plastic-poppy drums a la Wall of Glass kick in, hope the kept the raw sound for all the instruments.

I don't think that we'll ever get reissues of any of the Oasis albums from the 2000s and I certainly can't see it happening in the near future. I guess it will happen in some kind of anthology set when Noel is not anymore, so probably in like some 30+ years, but otherwise no reiusse.

Record Store Day have always got exclusive stuff from Noel. Well exclusive remixes anyway. I’d be surprised if whatever this is is just an exclusive disc colour. And I’d also be surprised if he’s taking this long to announce something that’s just a bunch of remixes. Noel really is the ultimate tease. Still digging The Mexican RSD remix - nice vinyl artwork too.

Personally I would love to hear Liam's take on Step Out but of course it remains to be seen if we'll ever hear it or not though. After the snippets we got with Liam recording it, this is the most anticipated song from the vault for me. I'm hopeful we get it at one point eventually, but might take years still...

I think that it's very hard to predict when we will get new albums from both Noel and Liam because nobody knows how long it will be before Covid is under control once and for all. Besides I think it's always going to be around now anyway and we've just got to learn to live with it vaccine or not. Well, they’ve got madly screaming happy crowds in the stadiums at the Australian Open right now, all because they decided not to live with the virus. Even with all that’s been royally screwed up in multiple countries that could have lost far fewer lives, there are ways Covid-19 can be a non-factor in human activity within a few years. The strategies exist. Just a matter of will, priorities and competence (granted, that's the hard stuff). But really, humanity got a stroke of luck. There are ways out of this mess and no need at all to let the virus continue to cause huge harms to life and joy. Indeed, but lame-ass politics in Europe can't get themselves together to push hard for it and get this under control and mostly over within 2-3 months. I was lucky being based for work in Thailand in 2020, we had the best life there after a short, hard lockdown. On Liam notes: It probably depends on how COVID evolves, I'd reckon that the recording is likely done by mid-year the latest, then it's just a question if they push it out right away and go on tour in fall (if possible) or if it remains in the shelves due to touring not possible yet.
