THIS IS THE WORST SONG NOEL HAS EVER WRITTEN did I do it right? my therapist is waiting to hear if I wanna book a session in the next week so I like it. It evokes a child like emotion like Penny Lane. But, without reaching those highs. Edit Marr is on the track? I don't hear anything that would scream Johnny like Ballad of Mighty I, Pretty Boy or If Love is the law Marr is on If Love is the Law?!

NOT THE CHRISTMAS BELLS! FFS For sure at least half the fan base screaming this out when those first kicked in. In that case, they are the reference to the "60s song" review, I guess. They are very similarly included in the song as in Andrew Oldham Orchestra's "The Last Time":

i’m eager to hear INGUT… he said first two songs on the record are bangers whereas rest flows in a more conceptual way. and he’s had such a strong track record of strong openers. when did WBTM leak? if i recall correctly only a day or two before release 2-4 days prior is the norm now. The lack of promo CDs has almost stopped it completely. Advance copies are sent via direct links to stream and can’t really be bootlegged. I imagine they get watermarked in the audio waves itself? Otherwise, bootlegging something that is streamed through your speakers on a computer is fairly is.

Interesting, no proper official vinyl single release and then this. Anyway, just ordered it.

Not really digging it as it sounds in parts like Pretty Boy and that he recycles the ‚I found you‘ part is just lazy song writing. One could only hope for an exciting live version where he blends it seamlessly into Ballad of the Mighty I.

Reunion is in both their financial interests and they'd both be idiots to pass it up, regardless of whether fans think they should or not. I still maintain they've been patching things up between them for months now and the online/radio back and forth is showbiz to fuel excitement, get people chatting about it. They're both manipulators of the media and know how to push their fans buttons. Whether or not they're genuinely getting on again is anyone's guess, but a brief cash grab reunion is a good business move for them, won't affect the legacy so long as they strike while the iron is hot and Liam's voice is up to it. The only thing that would affect the legacy is new music/if they tried to be a working band again, that'd probably be a disaster. This! A few massive gigs won't hurt them too much, they wouldn't even need to rehearse much together as Noel would probably bring his existing backing band along plus a Liam bringing in Bonehead for some songs. So the time the brothers would have to spend together is really minimal. I see it on the horizon, just for the divorce expenses' sake and the general amount of money they can make from it to inherit it to their kids after the death.

11/06 Mitsubishi Electric Halle, Düsseldorf Only german show according to the promoter. That's really f*cking me up. I have the tiniest bit of residual hope, as Austria is most certainly not Germany, but he has already ignored us during the last tour. I'd love to see him again, but travelling in November is not an option, as I already have other plans then.
Mitsubishi Electric Halle is also fairly big in Germany - regardless if it's the only venue or not. He won't sell this out. Would also love to see an gig in Vienna, just as close to me as Munich if I happen to be at my parents' place then.

It is technically impressive but it won’t be Liam content forever because it won’t be Liam. AI is going to get good enough that you won't be able to tell the difference. It will happen in our lifetime. It will seem real enough even with the knowledge they have passed. Fans will flock to deceased celebrity digital clones just as people will for deceased digital family and friends.
I'm imagining now a ChatGPT for music a few years down the line: "Produce me an 8th Oasis record with new original songs that take inspiration from the songs Flick of the Finger, Man Who Built the Moon, The Dying of the Light and Lock all the doors. Include 2 ballads, one around 8 minutes long with an epic Noel-Gallagher-guitar solo and as a closure of the record. The drummer for this record must be Alan White. Some songs should also include strings and be piano-led like Stop Crying Your Heart Out". In total, I want 7 songs sung by Liam and 3 by Noel." And then let the happy sharing among fans begin...like a contest who gives the best input and produces the best record from it.

Hot rumor is record store day list drops tomorrow. Sons of the Desert remix of the Reflex remix of Can You Keep a Secret (run time 32:55 min) If we got that, I’d be happy - but lazy arsed Noel/Liam/Oasis Management: We get nothing at all haha, disappointing, really. I stand corrected: Ocean Colour Scene’s release contains the Day Tripper cover where Liam and Noel joined: recordstoreday.com/SpecialRelease/15991

Let's Guess! "If Nothing Get Us There" Great guess! Very Noel-esque I thought of "I Never Gave Up Trying" but that'd sound more like a Liam tune, I guess Clearly "In Noel Gallagher U Trust"

Nice, it's a good version but the one from the vinyl is almost studio quality, I can't find it anywhere online. Where did you hear the vinyl? Almost studio quality sounds almost impossible to achieve from the upload Liam did - unless they re-recorded some instruments.

Goodbye, mysterious DAT! Off to a closet somewhere! Side note, did anyone bother looking at the other Oasis memorabilia on there? A copy of the Shakermaker single signed by every band member (1994) had no takers the last time I checked. Yes, it was sold, I think for some 200-300 Pounds.

I’m a big fan of Stay Young, easily one of my favorites from the Be Here Now era. This song had a different mix for the end credits of the 1998 (or 1999 I’m not sure) movie ‘The Faculty’. The first major difference you’ll notice is the length, it’s less than half as long as the original, which means a lot of the lyrics of the song aren’t on it, with that said it doesn’t sound like it cuts at times or anything. Then the actual mixing of the song is very different, I’m not really a pro when it comes to music knowledge but to me it sounds like a lot of guitar tracks where either toned down or removed, the drums and vocals sound a bit cleaner to me at least but I might be mistaken on that part. So for me at least I’d say I prefer the faculty mix, but I’m really curious to see what others think Interesting, never heard of that mix. Drums and vocals sound indeed a bit cleaner.

Personally I'd like to have it, but it's a 3 hour tape (or something like that), most of it is just roadies etc pissing about. I wouldn't pay a shit load of money to hear Full On and a couple of other instrumentals tbh, even if one of them is an unreleased song. As it's a soundboard recording, it should be of much better quality compared to e.g. the Hong Kong soundcheck we heard Everybody's on the Run first. But indeed, it's a bit vague and a gamble what "unheard song" actually means, a lot of interpretation.
