Gonna say 8. Best solo song since Once and has done a lot to ease some concerns i have about the album (although they're still there).
Massive improvement on EE which he never should have been given in my opinion. Good song but just not him and something id give a 6.
C'mon You Know is about 3 for me. I have a higher bar for Liam's songwriting than most and i know by his standards it's very lazy and not a patch on previous efforts like Greedy Soul and Bold.

I went 10 but maybe it's the first listen hype. It's everything I wanted from Liam solo. Sounds modern but also kind of 90s-ish. Proper love it.

For me it's a 10, because this connects directly to the Oasis fan in me. The feeling this song generates in me is why I fell in love with the band in the first place.
Back in the day when the Death in Vegas collaboration was rumored for DBTT, I was hoping for music like this.

You don't have a higher bar, you just don't like it and some do. You also have no idea if it was lazy piece of work, he might have been at it some time. Giving BD an 8, its glorious.

Well when i say i don't like C'mon You Know i'm just reminded he can't write songs by everyone. I think he can and i identify the typical signs of when he's being lazy in his songwriting. This was an example of it for me. Glad we agree on Better Days

I'm not a fan after two listens. Like somebody said above, it sounds like something Andy would have wrote around HC time with the Tomorrow Never Knows drum beat and psudo 67 vibes. The only thing different is the melody isn't there and it has a modern feel to the arrangement with all the drop outs.
I Haven't really dug anything off this album cycle.

7. Too much cheese on a song that deserved a bit more beef. Something like the rework of NG on DYKWIM could have been the solution. A bit more bass, a bit more guitar, less cheese piano and other stuff.
Cheese overdose on an otherwise quite nice song.

Not bad, but not good. I’ll still give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a 7.

I can't tell you if the song is mediocre or a masterpiece, the only thing I can tell you is that I find Liam's voice great in it. And for one of his fans it's pure lust! I Vote 8

I'm not sure how I feel about those drums. They sound like someone bashing on a garbage can lid. Really harsh. But I love the rest of it, so it's evening out to an 8 for me.

I love a bit of cheese myself, I feel like this is gonna be an album of variety. Individual parts might not be as strong as Once or WOG but even listening to the three releases together so far its quite a nice experience with a wide range. Certainly better than the last album thus far imo which was a bit thin in parts even though the songs weren't bad per say. I have a much better connection with these songs, feels like an extension of BE (the album) which for me isn't a bad thing. I liked BE and not DGSS. I'm hearing more of Liam on these 3 songs and not in a DGSS kind of way if that makes sense.
Also, I listened to Better Days for the first time via the music video which can sometimes create a better impression as you see cast-iron proof that the music can be repurposed/framed somewhere meaningful. I didn't sit around listening to 20 second leaks or things like that so maybe thats contributed to my enjoyment.
I'm very much on board so far, nothing can be as bad as China Town again, surely.

7,5/8 Interesting song. Very nice. Not something you call catchy (don’t think it will do well on the radio or with casual fans sadly. Did you notice that no1 here compared it to Robbie Williams or Adele music like they usually do? It doesn’t have that “commercial” feeling about it, not even slightly) but I think it has replay quality like Paper Crown and Alright Now

It's a different target, but still very, very commercial. No guitar in sight (or very buried in the mix) bar the "solo" is the indication.

Don’t get too heated, “not commercial” for me is not compliment (and not something negative too). I love pop music. You know when you listen to a song and like “yeah, it’s catchy/earworm/trendy”, easily accessible &enjoyable for majority of people, can be potentially (minor) hit. Or at least they tried to do it all these things” feeling? That’s what I was talking about

I really do love when the Oasis fanbase polls have a perfect Bell Curve.
It happens quite frequently.

7, I also think that Everything's Electric is kinda a weird song now that we have heard this and CYK. Makes you wonder what the first single was going to be to begin with.

I originally voted 8 but I've dropped to 7 as this is my least favourite song from the three released so far and much prefer Come On You Know and Everything's Electric. Probably because I've never been a fan of the Chemical Brothers which Better Days reminds me a lot of.
