I bet he’ll come after the Euro winter tour. Without looking back at it...I’m guessing April/May.
As someone said...theaters in major markets. 10-12 gigs.
Honestly...I’m TIRED of the Oasis songs. We’ve all seen em 100x. With the new album being so kick-ass...I want to see 45 mins new stuff/20 mins old stuff.
I’ve seen no marketing in US for the release. I assume w/ all the time off btwn Who dates that LG will do James Corden & LA press.

Definitely considered, but based on record sales maybe reconsidered. Let’s see what the pr around The Who gigs and the tv show bring. There’s definitely a window. As You Were wasn't popular here and his tour did pretty well. I think most people just want to see him play Oasis songs and dont really care about his solo stuff, aside from huge fans. They'll go see him because its Liam Gallagher from Oasis

The tour needs to be profitable, it needs to be huge, breaking even isn’t an option this time. It costs ridiculous amounts of money to take a tour to the US, right down to the cost of visas for everyone. The support slot is a great idea, much less overhead costs and a chance to throw in some pr. Personally, I think it’ll happen but I’m not the accountant. If there’s money to be made elsewhere then that’s where the tour will go. On a side note, I’d absolutely love to get across there and see some of his US gigs myself, if he does go and it coincides with the Easter break I’ll definitely be on a flight. I want this just as much as you.

Liam's doing a Rough Trade show/signing on October 27th and it sold out in a couple of minutes. Couldn't get my hands on a ticket but I would quite honestly do anything to be there, so if anyone has an extra ticket or is willing to part with theirs, I would pay a considerable amount of money to take it.

And I'm shocked that Liam can't make the numbers work whereas Noel seems to come here more often and with a way bigger band and no major label backing. Granted Liam's label probably has him on a 360 deal whereas Noel's the top dog.

I didn’t mean the numbers can’t work, I mean they need to work, I’m sure the number crunchers are on it - I can see it happening...

I think in the US people want Rock music out of LG, not pop. So I don’t know if this album will fill the shows Nah. They really just expect Wonderwall in the encore.

Wait you had to buy something in advance to attend this? I figured just show up, buy a copy and Liam signs it. Fuck. Where was the link.

Damn. At like 10 am I got the notification for the Liam signing but was waiting to hear more about a gig. I wish they tweeted and instagramed the show not the autographs. Would have scored a ticket the second they launched it all.

As great as he was in San Francisco, I was PISSED he didn't do it. i think we went to the same SF show, and it was the third time i'd seen him (if you can count the incredibly short lolla set as a show) and i haven't seen him do wonderwall. which i think is kind of funny lol

He better perform My Generation when he's with The Who or I'll cry.

It really was biblical but I felt for Liam with the idiots in the crowd throwing beers at the stage, WTF??? Pay $90 to pelt a man with overpriced beer. Also it was my first time seeing him so Wonderwall would've made it even better.

I’m SUPER bummed to have missed out on tix for Rough Trade - it’s like 10 minutes from my apartment.
I don’t suppose there would be much point in hanging around outside? I’ve never actually been to an event there...
