Noel is now the Tyson Fury of the music industry: A talented man who talks shite 24/7, and contradicts himself at every turn. Nice one for calling your wife's birthplace a third world country as well. She is very thin, maybe that’s why he thinks it? X

Haha his comments are on the front of the bbc website now. Proof that Noel knows what he is doing in an interview. No way he would end up on the main page of the BBC otherwise (e.g. no such thing as bad publicity).

Noel used to be a very funny, witty, mischievously arrogant man. Now he's a deeply unfunny, bitter arrogant man.
The wit and charm has gone, the bigger/more popular Liam's solo career seems to get the worse Noel's interviews and soundbites are.
It's quite possible for Liam with his Oasis fans and younger 'new' fans singing Oasis songs and co-existing alongside Noel and his 'new' musical direction.
Noel doesn't have to slag off the very Oasis fans who made him rich and famous

As others have mentioned, this type of interview seems to come across much worse in print than a video. For example the recent programme with Dermot O’Leary was probably the most endearing I’ve seen Noel in a while.
People say he’s not changed..... To me these interviews are all an act of sorts and actually it’s boring now. I’d rather he was a bit more genuine and we got a bit more insight into the music but he’s become so defensive and patronising that it all becomes a waste of time.
Plus he’s bitter that people have watched Liam post Supersonic and bought into his genuine, authentic side. Noel just can’t handle that the perception of Liam is no longer channelled through him. Both as bad as each other unfortunately

Great interview from the chief .Hes back with a great interview.I think he chose not to put a album and put ep with few songs because he knows that it would be a failure. And im happy with that. I think he is putting this cosmic shit out of his system and will be back with a great album next year or 2021.He knows what he is doing with the interview, the problem this time is that he doesnt have good music to back it up. There is no doubt that now is the worst moment in his career. But with this interview i got i felling he will climb the mountain fast.Liam needs to watch his back because the chief are coming for him.

What is this dudes deal? How can he be so fucking miserable? He’s written some great tunes in the past and is rich as hell and he’s flat out miserable. Dude needs to get on some Prozac or weed stat. Lighten up. Talkin shit on Taylor Swift? Weren’t u just giving out to Liam for picking on women? Say what you want at least swift writes her own tunes. They must have some substance bc Ryan Adams made them sound great. Also how about showing the pumpkins a bit of gratitude for bringing you out on the road. Dude acts like he’s above them or some shit. Check it kid, ur the opening act. You can’t sell out an amphitheater by ur self. That’s facts fella. Ur a 1500-3000 seat theater act here in the USA nowadays. Get a grip on reality. Stop trying to blow bono in every interview. Ur dance phase or whatever is shit. Write some proper tunes on a guitar. You wrote some Smith’s inspired tunes huh? Trust me, no you fuckin didn’t. Guy says he’s not trying to dress like a 19 year old? Who were those fuckin nerds he was rap rockin with in the black jacket a few months ago. He’s 52 and playing back up for a shit linken Park. This dude is bitter as fuck for like no reason. Don’t people usually mellow w age? I’m Noel, get off my lawn kids grrrrrrrrrrr. This fuckin guy. Taylor does not writes her songs alone. She uses a lot of help from others songwriters.

He has become unexplainably bitter (or maybe it is because of Liam - who knows). Just look at the bad reactions on a forum full of his fans! It didnt use to be like this in the past. We'd all laugh and get behind him (remember Robbie Williams). Now it's just cringy and, honestly, I think we haven't changed as much as he has. Just go back to when he took a stab at Ed Sheeran, who responded a bit like Capaldi. That time, Noel actually admitted to respecting the guy for taking it so well. Now he seems angrier at Capaldi for doing the same thing. He has become a bitter vagina and I'd bet most of his own fans would agree

It's not as if Capaldi is being nasty, he's having a laugh. Noel is being vitriolic and if a 50 year old was being like that to my son, I'd have a pop at him.

And he talks so much about evolving musically. Why not evolve/mature as a person too, instead of getting worse (devolve?)?

Oh dear Noel, why do you have to react like that? That was a toe curling interview. One of the most charmless and unpleasant I’ve ever read.

Even Anais is laughing at him with Capaldi. Anaïs and Lewis Capaldi were watching Noel in Madrid together. There is a video posted to Liam's Twitter that shows them side by side. It all seems the great rock'n'roll swindle to attract clicks and keep him (both, Noel and Liam?) in the news. Whatever it is, it does keep both brothers in the news and the joke seems to be on us. Noel was talking silly rubish as usual in the Variety interview, but it reads much worst than if it was audio or video.

Why does he speak about Oasis these days like he wants to forget them? I don't get it.
Also, when he says stuff like "I don't give a fuck what Oasis fans think", I just think to myself "what an absolute knobhead".

I'm just waiting for Capaldi to pick up an award, presented by Noel and Capaldi saying 'has beens shouldn't give awards to gonna bees' 😂😂 (BTW I'm not a fan of capaldi tunes, think the guy is genuinely funny though)
Noel has always contradicted himself, been a moody c@nt,been a gob-shite, to get himself press and he's good at doing it - he is a national hero/living legend and when he releases another sublime tune all sins will be forgiven.
Liam is no stranger to controversy and loved the same as Noel. Think his career has an edge over Noel's at the moment, couldn't say what the future will bring.
There will be no Oasis reunion with the whole band, look at who Noel admires - Johnny Marr (The Smiths ain't getting back) - Paul Weller (The Jam ain't getting back) - The Kinks, The Beatles, none of them are gigging as groups again. And of course the type of 'character' Noel is, the more the idea is pushed on him, the more he will go against it. (it does make me sad that it'll never be the case, but I think that's the reality)
I'm just glad they are both making music.
I'd love to see a Bonehead documentary, I'd trust that to be more balanced point of view. Thought he came across very genuine on AIW.
The Dermot bbc2 doc with Noel was great, showd Noel to be decent, but doing that all the time would damage his 'street cred' etc for bring a miserable gut.
Its all just Rawk N Rawl Brothers n Sistas ❤️

Article is classic Noely-G. He definitely is bitter, but that is what makes him Noel. Not happy about a shorter setlist in the states, but do plan to go. Writing on bass is interesting.
I do agree, anyone thinking there will be an Oasis reunion is going to be sorely disappointed, and that probably isn't a bad thing. The Beatles never got back together and Oasis won't either.
All sad. All true. We have the records as Noel said. They are both alive and making music and we should be grateful for that.

Also, when he says stuff like "I don't give a fuck what Oasis fans think", I just think to myself "what an absolute knobhead". He only remarks that way towards Oasis fans in terms of his different direction. If they demand the same tired thing time and time again yet he wants to do something different, then it’s fair game to say he doesn’t give a fuck what they think. It’s the personal insults and aggro that’s the problem.
