As incredible as it sounds and I can hardly believe I'm saying it myself but that isn't something I worry about any more. He'll have good days and bad days live going forward but he'll nail it in the studio. Exactly. He's recovered to a point where only us obsessives who've heard virtually every Oasis gig ever played can tell when he's not in form. Most casual fans just think he sounds mega.

Where he is at the moment reminds me of Morrissey’s You Are The Quarry period - a huge success predicated on a long absence, a new generation of fans discovering the back catalogue, a solid (if unremarkable) new album and a pitch-perfect marketing campaign. It felt a long time coming, but the scale of the comeback seemed to surprise everyone.
Basically what I’m saying is, Liam’ll be alright so long as he doesn’t become a racist or write a novel.

This is going to sound random but
1) Hair
does his hair have anything to do with his success?
I really can't see him being as easy for people to swallow if he comes back at the end of 2018 with a dora the explorer haircut lol.
Is long haired rocker look finished for Liam? Or will it be back? Noel had a dig but I don't think Liam is actually losing hair.
When he has long hair it can be awesome....but when it's bad....oh it's bad.
I'm bored of the buzzcut now though honestly, unless it comes with a white furry parka and round glasses.
So when's it changing, is it changing?
2) Recorded Vocals
Are we going to see Liam rip into more powerful, scratchy confident vocals now that he has his confidence back?
Or will he stick to the super high pitched thing that's served him well during AYW recording sessions?

No, he can't. This is the big comeback and it's been amazing but he's still a 45 year old rock star. We are at peak LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIAM and we should enjoy it for what it is.

no - but he will ride it for as long as he can. Why shouldn't he? He'd be even more crazy or lazy than Noel says he is if he didn't take all the advantage he can.

Liam will be able to play arenas for as long as he lives unless he delivers a ridiculously shit album. Another album with singles like Wall of Glass and FWIW and he's set. Even Richard Ashcroft can sell out the O2 behind a turd of an album.

Having witnessed him last night at Cardiff I'm convinced he can. People there last night aged from 10/11 to 50's. Male, female, young, old, black, white, ethnic, European.
Anyone who doesn't think he will hasn't been to a UK live show on this tour.

As long as he carry on doing gigs with this massive success and he return with a great hit single like Wall of Glass, i think his next album/tour is going to be bigger than this one (UK obvioulsy).

Of course he can, he’s Liam Gallagher, he knows how to keep people interested in him. Twitter, good songs, funny interviews and awesome gigs that resemble the gloroius ones of Oasis, as long as he keeps doing this stuff he’ll be more than fine. After he walked out in Chicago someone already called his career over, finished, yet here we are. I believe he really knows what he's doing.

Think Liam should just continue doing the same with the next album. Mix of Liam songs and a mix of songs written for him. Dont get all cocky and think he can do it all himself as that may fail big time.
Amazing amazing comeback for Liam this year, just keep it going. Have a good rest after the tour and then do the same for album 2, get songs written for him as that works best

It felt a long time coming, but the scale of the comeback seemed to surprise everyone. Spot on. It’s that 20 year cycle of classic artists becoming popular again. In 2004 when Morrissey’s You Are The Quary came out I was 18, had been too young/not born for The Smiths in the 80’s. And solo Morrissey comeback was the closest I could get to experiencing it, so it was really exciting for me. Exactly like Liam is doing now with a new generation who were born in the late 90’s etc. And a welcome return for all us older fans.
