From wiki, I assume it's now correct. Liam wrote six songs on album plus two bonus tracks on his own.
Only real surprise for me is WIIN. Co write with Ian Arnold.
Also no writing credit for Liam on Paper Crown or Chinatown. At least he can't be blamed for the opening lines to CT.

It's annoying that you don't get a pdf booklet when you buy the album from Itunes. I'd like to get the lyrics and know who wrote what and who played what too.

I've ordered CD from official site but it's still not here. Downloaded from Amazon but as you say no info with that.
Bit frustrating.

Probably just marketing. Casual fans were probably afraid of new Little James or BDI songs.

I always thought When I'm In Need was a Liam written tune - it was in the 2015 pub video I believe + it sounds like a song by him. He's not the sole songwriter credited, but he is the primary one, right?

Liam alone: - Bold - Greedy Soul - You Better Run - I Get By - Universal Gleam - I’ve All I Need - All My People/All Mankind - I Never Wanna Be Like You
Liam + 1: - When I’m In Need (Iain Archer) - For What It’s Worth (Simon Jons)
Andrew Wyatt & Greg Kurstin (with Liam) - Come Back To Me - Doesn’t Have To Be That Way - Wall Of Glass (also Andrew Sidney Fox, Michael Tighe)
Andrew Wyatt & Michael Tighe (no Liam): - Paper Crown - Chinatown
Based on all the above, I’d say: - Liam’s stuff is the most “Oasis”-y, unsurprisingly - When I’m In Need feels very “Liam”, Iain maybe only had minor input during recording, as he produced this one? - For What It’s Worth, I’d guess Liam verses, with Simon beefing it up with middle eight & chorus - Andrew & Gregg’s stuff feels like songwriters being brought in to offer modern-sounding tunes that suit Liam - Andrew & Tighe’s stuff feels like two of them going off to write a couple of softer tunes - No idea how Wall of Glass had 5 writers, would guess it was knocked around in the studio with Fox/Tighe chipping in
Does anyone have any links to interviews/articles where this is discussed more? Would love to piece together the process. Based on the sound of everything and what little I know I’d guess:
- Liam plays Bold to record company, gets deal - Liam has bunch of other tunes knocking around, record company suggests bringing people in to tidy a couple up a bit (WIIN, FWIW) and add a few to the pot (WOG/CBTM/DHTBTW/others(?) - After first sessions, they get Tighe in to soften the overall album for balance (PC, CT)

He's not the sole songwriter credited, but he is the primary one, right? He said Bold and When I'm In Need were the songs he had demoed and got the deal from Warner off. I'm guessing the start of the album version is from that demo, and Iain Archer probably came up with the instrumental bit at the end to flesh it out and got credit for it.

Interesting to see how much of a role Dan McDougal played on the record instrumentally. Good on everyone involved, the record sounds great.

Hay I thought Paper crown was Kurstin. I gotta say an album full of Liam tunes would have been a bit too much. But Bold, Ive all I need and Greedy soul are among the best songs he ever has written. They sound solid, complete, not unfinished like lots of his efforts.
