Funny how I thought this the weakest on Demons and Wizards III but now love it:
The whole album score: 8/10

I like Interpol, I don't mind listening to their music at all... But at the same time I can't stop thinking that they're just a less exciting version of the Chameleons.

This takes me back to 2012....probably why I am completely indifferent to people now:

Andy Bell and Gem Archer both look like they’ve aged 20 years since Beady Eye ended. WTF?!?!?

I'm falling in love with Pavement. Top-3 bands from 90's for sure... And that's my favourite decade in music!

The start of this reminds me of the ambience in Charlie Brown

I never realized how great Peter Gabriel is. Fantastic artist, his work with Genesis is awesome as well. Always laugh when you think him and Phil Collins were in the same band, two totally different kind of musicians. I even love So, a bit like Let's Dance was to David Bowie, a great pop album. If the tunes are good, it's fine for a artist to have big commercial album, don't know why some fans look down on it. Also Solsbury Hill is one of the greatest songs ever written. Also he's a massive influence on Vampire weekend.

RIP Andrew Weatherall e. I didn't expect this at all and it's not like I'm some huge fan but this actually hit me quite hard. I think Weatherall has influenced me quite a bit actually, he was one of those people that raised my interest in DJing and producing. Especially the DJ thing is something I didn't quite appreciate until I started reading about guys like Weatherall and I realised it's something I actually really want to do sometime. His influence is all over the best moments of Screamadelica, that album is every bit his as it is Primal screams.

He was a genius composer and it really shows in the songs on that album. They were a great team together and he helped Primal Scream to find their "thing" which was combining rock music with heavy studio mixing and electronic influences and producers.

Yeah, it's amazing to me as well when you watch Genesis footage and there he is, strutting around on stage dressed like a flower, that this is the same person who did Sledgehammer a decade later. So is a great pop album. It has great songs on it which happen to be hits without losing the artistic integrity IMO.

Just learned that Stormzy is a big Coldplay fan. There's a line on Wiley Flow where he says "coming through like a young Chris Martin", even. He grows in my estimation every day

I love when I bump into songs like this one. Bright guitars, addictive riffs, thick bass and a propulsive rhythm. Brilliant stuff... and solid band. Check this out.

Knowing all his weird stage personas while in Genesis, the sledgehammer video is less surprising because of how bonkers it is visually. Still the most played video on MTV of all time.

Great little roots-y tune by the Stones from one of their best albums:

Just discovered Girlpool and this song. This sounds like it could come from Elliott Smith's "XO". Good song.
