If we didn't already have MOS, sure, AGN isn't terrible. But why do we have both? Further, why are both in the same god damn setlist? FOR FUCK'S SAKE OASIS.

Just listened to a live version of AGN from The Bataclan (of all places!) 2008 and I quite enjoyed it. I've heard it live 3 times during the DOYS tour and I always thought it was a good live number. Now I know its not a fantastic song by any stretch but...I think it suffers from the same problem as I Can See a Liar. That is, had it been a bside I think it would have been appreciated more. Reminds me of The Who a bit, coudl have been a Quadrophenia number. While I don't mind it on the album (thought the demo had more bite to it), I think it works well live. I like the A B F# progression and the insturmental middle bit, and the abrupt ending. All in all, its a decent number. Should it have been on the album? Probably not. But played live? I think it was a good choice. Just not for almost the whole tour - should have been switched for The Turning instead once the album came out. I'm okay being the only one here who likes this song. But if anyone else has warm fuzzy feelings towards it, please share your thoughts!

I don't really love it.. But it is an ok song. Although lyrics are shit

I think it's pretty weak tbh. I much prefer Man Of Misery out of his short rockier songs, he sounded great every time he sang it live too Wow! I never had seen BE that much but damn Liam sounds awful!!

I listened to the demo again this week and I actually really like it. Had it been a DBTT b-side (on LTBL maybe?) I think it would have been really well received.
The version on DOYS feels VERY flat in comparison.

Never had a problem with it either until I joined this forum and people tricked me into thinking that it sucks.

I feel dirty saying this but I listened to it recently and it wasn't THAT bad.

Amongst my bottom 5 Oasis songs. I despise it! Its dreadful! And this is coming from someone who actually quite likes Meaning Of Soul!

I'm suprised Oasis didnt end up in a routine of Noel written A-Sides and Liam written B-Sides. I know this sort of happened on DBTT but it would have been nice as a routine. Obviously the better Liam written songs would make the albums, but Liam shouldnt of just got album space because of democracy!

It's not bad! The screaming and feedback during the solo is what elevates the song above similar-sounding Liam songs. But neither is it that good, and shouldn't have made any album.

The song is still crap as of five minutes ago when I took a listen.

Noel let it on the album and set list as a warning for anyone who thought the rest of the band could make it without him.

One thing saves AGN and that is TNOR. TNOR makes anything look like Mozart by fucking comparison.
