I think for both their time has passed. Of all your 6000+ posts, this is definitely my least favourite. It's a really sad thought that neither of them would ever make music again.

What, Lee and The Stone Roses? I think you can only wait so long until you release something and still get the hype. After a while (or a long time, in both cases) that dies down and people lose interest.

I thought you meant Lee and Liam! Although I'd feel the same about the Roses as well. If Lee Mavers/The La's or indeed The Roses announced an album, I think it would generate a huge amount of interest and fervour. Both bands have a certain air of mystery surrounding them that's kept the hype going 25 years after their peaks.

If he does something too soon it wouldn't be good and too soon, but if he'll wait too long people will lose interest.. Hmmm yeah maybe in the UK, but I doubt a lot of people outside the UK would care (apart from their hardcore fans obviously).

Maybe Liam has some demos or unreleased songs with him but yeah, he doesn't want to find a producer and to go in a fuckin' studio. But I'm sure he is still writing songs nowadays.
