I think a lot of people will be disappointed but this is exactly what I was expecting judging by the DM release, Very interested to hear the demo but just a bit gutted two of them are She's Electric and Hey Now which are two of my least favourite Oasis songs, Also excuse my ignorance but what is the significance of the Roskilde gig? Surely more Maine Road or Knebworth tracks would have been better recevied?

Thanks for posting it, gretschdrummer1000.
I still have 2 and a half month to save money for it. Oh dear...here we go again. Deluxe box set looks MUCH better than DM.
If someone from the Oasis management ever reads this thread, please make all the prices of delux box set lower for all the true Oasis fans. I bought DM deluxe box set and I don't regret that I bought it, but I don't need mer. such as a bag, pic, postcards etc. I'm happy with that coffee table book and I use the key ring.

Funny thing is with that FB announcement is it describes the b-sides as 'rare',
You mean so rare they've been officially available for 19 years and most of which are also on the bands greatest hits album!!
I might sound like a cantankerous old git but I don't know who they're trying to kid. Most people who care about this album are people like us, who wouldn't describe anything from disk 2 (except the CS remix) as anything close to resembling 'rare'

Looking forward to :
She’s Electric (Demo) Champagne Supernova (Brendan Lynch Mix) (Remastered) Hey Now (Demo) Bonehead’s Bank Holiday (Demo)
These could be, the only actually rare things that we haven't heard before. Rest of it, you can find on you tube really.

Sounds like there was quite a lot of changes to Bonehead's Bank Holiday before making it onto the album - there's a whole new melody line in there, and that's going by the clip.
Also, the Brendan Lynch mix of Champagne Supernova is NOT the one already released, but a sort of hybrid between the original album mix, and the original remix.
Hope these are available to buy on UK iTunes pretty damn quick otherwise other means will be used.

Also excuse my ignorance but what is the significance of the Roskilde gig? Surely more Maine Road or Knebworth tracks would have been better recevied? Liam singing "WEEEEEEELL" on Morning Glory? Naah. I don't know really. But it was one of the first gigs (along with Glastonbury 95) where the WTSMG tracks where played at first time.

They musn't have a professional recording of the Sheffield Arena gig, because that debut version of Don't Look Back In Anger would have been ideal, seeing as they've had to load the bonus disk with live tracks.

Looking forward to She's Electric and Hey Now demos, the rest doesn't interest me.
"unreleased Oasis tracks" is a bit of a stretch

Also the last gig that Mark Coyle did sound for with the band.

It's for kids, new generation of fans, nice boxes, posters and b-sides that most of them probably never heard yet. They'll be having them for christmas.

That's the annoying thing, that's what it appears like from the tracklist but if £100+ box sets aren't targeted for die hard fans then somethings very wrong, I see what you're saying about new fans but if I was I new fan I'd be happy with the £6 albums + The Masterplan. Then if I wanted more the singles are out there for peanuts. I couldn't give a shit about a Tote Bag and Badge etc. I do geniunely think they're trying to appeal to the likes of us but are completely missing the point and severely underestimate how readily available all of this stuff is. It's like the management still think its 1994 and the only way you can hear songs which aren't on the album is via worn out bootleg cassettes passed around.

Not sure why but I'm a bit disappointed with the tracklisting. Dunno whether I buy this or not. :/

I guess you can credit them for sticking with the same formula/mix of tracks as the Definitely Maybe Re-Issue. But it amazes me they don't see this as an opportunity to put out a gig on CD/DVD as part of the package. I'm not too sure what gigs are the most iconic from the "Definitely Maybe" Era. But this set was perfect for Knebworth or Maine Road. And the Be Here Now set would be great to stick the '97 G-Mex gig on.

Utterly pointless.
Should have been abundantly clear that both WTSMG AND BHN will be done the exact same way as the DM re-issue. Daft.
I hope we get something special next year.

Yeah I'll be getting the 3 disc of course, but I'm disapointed with the tracklisting as well. I already have all the singles, so disc 2 is just a conveinent thing to have them all on 1 disc officially.
Disc 3 looks cool. I was expecting more than 28 tracks on the 2 and 3 discs.
Didn't the DM ones have like 33? Really wanting more demos or unheard stuff.
Then again, as stated befre we are all hardcore fans here really, and if you're casual Oasis fan or not a fan at all, this is just perfect for ya.
I found the artwork and booklet to be great in the DM reissue, so I'm sure this will be the same thing.
