- This is the first time ever we'll get a high quality CD version of Bonehead’s Bank Holiday and Champagne Supernova (Brendan Lynch Mix). About freaking time! Just a pointer, the Lynch remix on this new set isn't the same as the original Lynchmob Beats Mix '95 - which itself was reissued on a CD promo for Stop the Clocks - www.discogs.com/Oasis-Champagne-Supernova/release/1867423

Rare and previously unheard Oasis demos are to appear on a new reissue of the band's second album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?'. The album, which was originally released in October 1995 and has since sold over 22 million copies worldwide, will be re-released as part of the Chasing The Sun reissue package – the first of which was 'Definitely Maybe' earlier this year. The new edition of the album has been remastered from the original tapes by Ian Cooper at London’s Metropolis Studios, supervised by the album’s producer Owen Morris. The pair were pat of a small team who have managed to hunt down unheard demos and live material, as well as never-seen-before photos and memorabilia which will be included in the new artwork. '(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?' Chasing The Sun Edition will be available on standard CD & digital download, special sdition 3 x CD & digital download, 12” vinyl LP (with digital download bundle of all bonus CD content), and a deluxe box set (including the LP, special edition CD, 7” of an exclusive demo, replication of an original 12” promo & merchandise). The bonus material includes previously unheard demos of 'She’s Electric' and 'Rockin’ Chair', which were recorded at Mark Coyle’s Manchester studio; demos of 'Some Might Say', 'Hey Now', and 'Bonehead’s Bank Holiday', recorded by Mark Coyle for the first time at the band’s soundcheck, Club Quattro in Tokyo in September 1994. In addition, it will include live recordings from gigs including Knebworth, Maine Road Stadium, Earls Court, and Bath Pavilion and all the B-sides to singles (many of which appeared on 'The Masterplan' including 'Talk Tonight', 'Acquiesce', and 'Underneath The Sky'. 'Oasis: (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? Chasing The Sun Edition' tracklisting: Disc 1: 'Hello' 'Roll With It' 'Wonderwall' 'Don’t Look Back In Anger' 'Hey Now!' '(untitled)' 'Some Might Say' 'Cast No Shadow' 'She’s Electric' 'Morning Glory' '(untitled)' 'Champagne Supernova' Disc 2: 'Talk Tonight' 'Acquiesce' 'Headshrinker' 'It’s Better People' 'Rockin' Chair' 'Step Out' 'Underneath The Sky ' 'Cum On Feel The Noize' 'Round Are Way' 'The Swamp Song' 'The Masterplan' 'Bonehead’s Bank Holiday' 'Champagne Supernova (Brendan Lynch Mix)' 'You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away' Disc 3: 'Acquiesce (Live At Earls Court)' 'Some Might Say (Demo)' 'Some Might Say (Live at Roskilde)' 'She’s Electric (Demo)' 'Talk Tonight (Live At Bath Pavilion)' 'Rockin’ Chair (Demo)' 'Hello (Live At Roskilde)' 'Roll With It (Live At Roskilde)' 'Morning Glory (Live At Roskilde)' 'Hey Now (Demo)' 'Bonehead’s Bank Holiday (Demo)' 'Round Are Way (MTV Unplugged)' 'Cast No Shadow (Live At Maine Road)' 'The Masterplan (Live At Knebworth Park)' Read more at www.nme.com/news/oasis/78272

I'm not really disappointed just disheartened by the track listing. Does anyone know if Liam sings any of the demos though?

I'll eat my testicles if he does. he'll sing on the Songbird demo etc.. but he won't sing on noel's song's demo's Possibly he could sing on early version of songs that would probably be classed as demos (even tho alternate take's be more apt)

I know you're joking but you do know that it's already been confirmed by Owen Morris that a Liam-sung version of Don't Look Back In Anger doesn't exist and never has?

It shouldn't be long until we know what the Japanese bonus tracks are. Presumably they'll get two like with DM, hopefully at least one of them is of genuine interest, ie not just another live track from Maine Road / Knebworth etc. Maybe they'll get the version of Boneheads Bank Holiday with Bonehead on vocals, or even better a completely unheard track. Remember we got an unreleased track in Strange Thing on the DM so I'm quitely confident we might get another here.

I mean I'm happy about this set. We get the thing remastered, which could loosen some of the compression and just give us a slightly different take, bsides all in one go, and of course the 3rd disc
that is where the dissapointment is, but it's still really cool. I'm happy with it. Better than nothing. They oculd of fit 2 more songs on the 3rd disc to make it 14 and 16 for 30 extras

This is the one im looking forward to the most out of the 3 re-issues. I don't think BHN will offer too much tbh. BHN doesn't need a re-mastering it needs a shortening

More I think about it the more I think just what an uninspired and bizzare collection of songs the third disc is.

Ignition Records's official Soundcloud made Bonehead's Bank Holiday (demo) and Champagne Supernova remix available and they were linked on The Guardian's website, but they got removed after a few hours. Silly management ahaha. Anyone got them? I'd like to have them on my HD.

I think Noel is purposely holding back juicy material for a future anthology. When "Coming On Strong (Setting Sun)" didn't appear on the DM reissue it only confirms my suspicion. Granted I could be wrong.

It looks like we're very unlikely to get the full mustique demos with BHN. The bonus material for all the issues seems to be a ragtag mix of demos, live tracks and out takes. So we'll probably get a few tracks from that session but not all

Yeah I agree, it will probably be some neat demos and live stuff we've not heard hopefully for 3rd BHN disc. Mustique will probably not be on it.
disc 2 is my concern. They going to just go with 8 songs on it? What else could be on there? they should do some unreleased acoustics stuff combined with bsides on disc 2 since their weren't many bsides for bhn
