I see nothing wrong with his opinion of Dylan, I tend to feel the same way.

he's right isn't he? the headlines always blow it up and make it look like he himself went to a newspaper to shout out loud that Bod Dylan is a miserable c*nt. While in fact some stupid interviewer asked him some stupid question about what he thinks of Bob Dylan and his 70th birthday, and he just answers what he thinks. Thats it

Why isn't the headline of that article: "Liam Gallagher likes Miles Kane"?

There are a lot of emotions coming out of me right now. I absolutely love Bob Dylan.
This is Liam, being Liam. I love that Liam is willing to speak his mind and not care what others think.
Though I must say that I know that everyone has their own taste, but it's hard for me to think that of all the great songs that Dylan has made, you can't find more than 1 or 2 that you like. That's like saying that Wonderwall was the only good song Oasis did. I guess to each their own, and everyone has their own music taste. But I would love to know how many songs he's listened to and what songs he's heard. Anyways that's a separate point, and I'm letting my fandom into this.
As to the content of what he said, I do wish that he had explained himself more. I know that this is Liam were talking about and he usually just gives short quips, but I do wish that he had said more. note: I'm not saying whether he was right or wrong, just that wish that he had explained his position better. Rather than just saying "I know all about him and that, but he's a bit of a miserable vagina as far as I'm concerned,". Though, I would love to hear what some on here would say, if someone said that about Liam. But I guess that just falls into the Liam, being Liam category.
And toward songbirdsally, I really don't see how that was a stupid question. He was asked about another artist's music (and a great one at that). It hasn't been the first time he'll be asked about a particular artist, and it won't be the last. I don't consider that a stupid question by a stupid reporter.

Miserable vagina as a person or musically? Each one to his own and everyone has a different opinion about other people but it's not wise to say shit about someone who has so many fans and who is respected in the industry. But it's Liam so it's not surprising at all... I remember him saying something similar about McCartney

In the same interview he also made a comment about 60's and 70's bands who reform and play summer festivals- "All those fuckers playing their greatest hits are shitbags."

This is an example of bad PR... What the fuck are you on about. He's a rock 'n' roll star. Well there's no need on the swear, i know who he is but the people behind him should be worried if he continues to slag everyone he will be without targets in no time... and well the PR team(or person IDC/IDC) should watch what are going to ask him this does no good to his band and his image. (I dont like bob dylan , btw).

No one really cares. I like some of Dylans music but this is Liam Gallagher, it's to be expected. I would of put money on him saying something like that about Dylan.

I agree with Liam, nowadays he does seems like a miserable you know what....but I do like his music...and its Liam's right not to, so who cares...Maybe it was a bit of a dig at Noel, who really likes Dylan...

I don't understand how a Lennon fan can say something like that, Lennon was a big Dylan fan and he composed some songs influenced by him like You've Got To Hide Your Love Away...(covered by Oasis)...I like Liam but I don't agree with him, Bob Dylan is a f***kin' genius ! (Sorry for my English I'm French)

I will be one of the biggest Dylan fans on here, in my mind he is the greatest and when I first saw the topic title I thought ffs. But in fairness to Liam, he's probably right.

Liam's the miserable one: always complaining about modern music and putting everybody down in the press. I don't see him making a christmas album or going on a never ending tour for 23 years (and counting!). These outbursts won't give him any new fans, he actually might lose a few because I'm getting tired of his contstant criticism on musicians and modern music.

Yeah but has Dylan smiled once during the Never Ending Tour? haha I don't think so.

How often does Liam smile during gigs? It's not his place to say who's miserable

How often does Liam smile during gigs? It's not his place to say who's miserable I've see him smile quite a bit, more than dylan anyway. I suppose to me Liam just like anyone can say whatever he wants, you take it or leave it. And i'm the biggest Dylan fan going.

Get the fuck over it. If you have liked Liam for this long and only now finding out he tells his honest opinion on artists who are put to him you are an idiot. He's been doing it for years and his outspoken comments are part of Liam Gallagher/Oasis image.
And just because Lennon liked Dylan doesn't mean Liam has to, hes a miserable vagina anyway no getting away from it. It was Noel who covered You Got To Hide Your Love Away anyway not Liam.

And just because Lennon liked Dylan doesn't mean Liam has to, hes a miserable vagina anyway no getting away from it. It was Noel who covered You Got To Hide Your Love Away anyway not Liam. I guess. It's cute and great and all when you're young and in the biggest band in the world, but as you get older, you just start sounding more and more like an ill-informed moron who doesn't know where he's coming from or what he's criticizing. (not saying Liam is that). But it does get tiring and old. Especially because all Liam does is make quips in interviews and never explains his point of view. That's probably asking too much of Liam after all these years, but it would be nice if he did do that. Idk, with me its more of "how" he said it, than what he said. I think an artist of Dylan's stature should be given a bit more respect. Whether you like him or not, or find him "miserable" or not. I don't even know if Liam is criticizing him personally or musically? I'm guessing personally here.
