It's gonna be my first "seated" concert ;D In France and in England you don't have seats, you just show up extra early and you get to be at the bottom of the stage ;D It's madness though

I needed four (kinda screwed of course), but I'm on the floor in sec 3, row 25. Not bad, as it REALLY is 25 rows from the stage (sec 1 is the first ten rows and sec 1&2 are 11 on back). I'll keep an eye on ebay and such to see if I can better them in the next two months. How the hell did you get such good seats?! I had to retry twice just to get those section 103's.... BTW, is section 103, row f decent? I haven't been to Allstate since it was Rosemont Horizon for a WWF thing back in mid - 90's...ha ha Don't know, didn't think they were all that great at first, then, considering I needed 4 together and after learning from an all-state rep that the first 10 rows were pretty much "off-limits", I didn't think the fifteenth row of "available" seats was all that bad. I just kept going and going till I got on the floor. A lot of times credit cards don't go through or people fuck something else up and you can grab their orginal seats when they lose them. Keep that in mind next time people if you didn't know. I may try again Friday to try and better them and just these.

I've got 3 other Die-hard Oasis fans, and 4 others in a different section coming w/ me.
It'd be cool to rent a room at a local bar or something and do what the NY people did last tour....
The only problem is there aren't really any bars/pubs anywhere near Allstate.
Anyone up for that? Or have any ideas?

I've been there, but don't remember the name. Its a sports bar. I think that is only about 1/2 mile from the arena?

There's a place called McNally's Irish Pub that says it's about 8 miles away from Allstate....could that be what you're thinking of??
I looked that up on the Yahoo or Google where it shows restaurants/pubs close by. There is a restaurant right next door, but it's in no way a drinking establishment, nor prepared to deal with a bunch of drunk Oasis hooligans....ha haha
But let's put something together; figure out where to go and then if we get enough people rent a backroom out, or get some kind of a drink special going.

That'll do just fine. Would prefer an awesome old Irish pub w/ Boddingtons, Guiness and all that, but this place looks pretty cool for a sports bar. They have booths, and pool tables, AND they're open until 4am, which is rare.
As the next couple weeks pass by, we can put some kind of a meet up plan together for it. Although, I'm sure the place will be packed with Oasis fans that night anyway.
What do you guys think?

Tell your teacher/instructor there is an emergency or something and that you need to take it beforehand. If you give them enough notice, you should be ok. I've done that before when I was in college. Better yet, if you're honest about it, and tell them now, and they see you're pretty passionate, they should let you go. Did exactly that, they said i can make it up later. Now i can't find any fuckin' floor seats! >< Think any will become available during the general sale? Never dealt with one of these online presale things...

Ok. The nighlife scene (bars/pubs) is pretty weak out by Allstate arena.
So, that being said, we should just have a meet-up pre- and post-show at that Shoeless Joe's bar. The place looks decent - cute waitresses at least. ... I'm sure they're into drunk, slobbering Oasis fans.... ;D
But seriously, unless anyone has better ideas, we can just meet-up there (they close at 4am!!)
As it gets closer to the show we can get some official headcounts and find out about some kinda drink special if we want to.
Thoughts?

I'm definitely down. I'm from Milwaukee (GO BREWERS!), and not terribly familiar with the area, so you guys sort it out and I'll show up with a half a dozen of mad-ferrets.

Well, how about my teams? Cubs down 0-2. Sox 0-1. Doesn't bode well for this year's 'destiny's team' as they've been called. Well, Win or Lose, we still booze I guess....

hey fellow Oasis gayrods: I know different places have been thrown around for a meet-up spot, but lets try to decide on one and I'd have no problem contacting it and seeing if I can't hook us up with some type of "group" booze/food special. I've done it before. Looks like we could easily have 50+ here. Thats nothing to sneeze at as far as cash goes to a pub owner. A Friday night makes it a little less advantageous to us (obviously usually busy anyways), but We'd be in EARLY pre-show, so that's still a nice boost to his/her bottom line. Perhaps a spot a little less congested would work better for a group of our size?
So, LOCALS figure out a spot and let's work this out. All of a sudden, less than 6 weeks out.
Also, let's try figuring out how many we'll have...I'm in for NINE for certain.
Let's go.

I live like 45-60 mins away from All-State, but i'll do some research on the internet and see whats around there. If anyone lives near definitely try to help us out.
