for those complaining about Liam's vocals, imagine Noel trying to sing this one lol. good performance, shit mixing (to be expected), band needs a bit of a kick up the ass IMO

No idea if this is any chance of happening with our covid restrictions (seems unlikely atm I must say?) but I’ll definitely head up from Wellington for it … will be amazing if it does take place! Last big gig I went to was Liam’s final concert of the decade in Dec 19 in Auckland, so it would be fitting to restart with him as well. 🥲 Yeah, I sadly can't see it happening this soon. Maybe later in the year.

Damn good song, love it! I'd put on the same level as Wall of Glass, but definitely ahead of Shockwave
Bed time now lol

I'm in NZ but unfortunately I will be sound asleep at midnight (alarm set for 6am 🙄), probably going to wait until after work to listen to it so I can sit down with a few cold ones and enjoy it properly.

Looks like his limelight may be slightly stolen, RHCP are to release their first single with John Frusciante in over 15 years on 4th Feb as well. Not confirmed but rumour mill is in overdrive.
7 hours until release time where I am!!

Time to crawl out of hibernation to say how fucking excited I am, one of my fav singers with one of my fav musicians helping him out.
Let's hope Noel can also get something out soon, I think 2022 will be a great year to be an Oasis fan.

So what songs do we have confirmed titles for? C'Mon You Know, Better Days, The World's In Need, Too Good for Giving Up and I Wish I Had More Power? Any more?

Listening to As You Were tonight. That album is so important to me - it was the first Oasis related album to come out when I was a HUGE fan. Being on this forum and checking all of the rumoured song titles and dates kept me going at a very rough time when I was at a crossroads in life. I will never forget the day I was late to work because I was trying to find periscopes of the first LG solo show. While I think WMWN is the better album, it doesn't hold the nostalgic factor that AYW does.

Production on this is better than on several of the EP songs lol... Not a bad song though definitely would appeal to fans of the first 2 HFB records.

For me, AYW has a certain charm that WMWN doesn't have (possibly because of the more professional song writing on the latter) but WMWN has a bit of extra punch and focus than AYW. I don't think I could put one album above another though and both are a comfortable 8/10 for me.

We know songs like Flick of the Finger, The Roller, Wind Up Dream etc were all written during Oasis' days, but do we know for sure what songs were actually written during the course of Beady Eye? Thank you in advance!

I wouldn't be unhappy if he included the direction the EPs took on this album but for the love of God, please have better production Wandering Star sounds horrific even though it's a banger

Been listening to both BE albums a bit lately. DGSS definitely has it's moments and there are some pretty strong songs on there (Four Letter Word, Millionaire, Kill for a Dream, The Beat Goes On) but there is some utter crap too. Mainly Bring the Light. On the other hand, BE is far more consistent but only 1 song is hugely a favourite of mine (Soon Come Tomorrow). But there is also nothing bad on it.

Out in NZ (once again not posting any links... you'll get it soon!!), pretty damn good! Definitely like it more than God Help Us All. Where did people get Bye Bye My Family as an alt title from though? Not in the lyrics lol

Wonderwall - Actually an amazing song, it's just overplayed. Ain't Got Nothin - Quick punky little song, nothing to hate. Force of Nature - Trite lyrics but I like the feel going on. Boy with the Blues - Probably my 2nd favourite Liam offering for Oasis. Magic Pie - It's not THAT bad. Certainly a few worse on BHN for me.

Mick Fleetwood and Friends celebrate the music of Peter Green - teaser In cinemas 2 & 7 June in select cinemas around the UK & Europe, 10 & 14 May in Australia & New Zealand. Mick Fleetwood has assembled a stellar cast of musicians to celebrate the music that established Fleetwood Mac as one of the biggest bands in the world – the music of Peter Green. With a line-up featuring Neil Finn, Noel Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammett, Jonny Lang, John Mayall, Christine McVie, Pete Townshend, Steven Tyler and Bill Wyman, this once-in-a-lifetime concert event captured at The London Palladium on 25 Feb 2020 is an absolute must-see for any music fan out there. Woah! Noel would be the youngest in that line-up - by at least ten years. No? Off the top of my head, Neil Finn and Kirk Hammett would be within 10 years of Noel possibly?

Ranking the songs from best to worst...
1. Come On Outside - 9/10 2. Rattling Rose - 9/10 3. Sail On - 8/10 4. Wandering Star - 7/10 (production on this knocks it an entire star...) 5. Black Star Dancing - 6/10 6. Blue Moon Rising - 5/10 7. A Dream Is All I Need To Get By - 5/10 8. Evil Flower - 4/10 9. This Is The Place - 4/10
Would be a very medicore album if it were to be classed as one.

The Hindu Times - Very good song, not a fan of the performance or production, but very well written. Force of Nature - Like this one, don't know why everyone hates it. Hung in a Bad Place - Meh, not bad. Stop Crying Your Heart Out - Fantastic. Liam sounds incredible. Songbird - Good song but not Liam's best with Oasis. Little by Little - Love it, absolute tune and my favourite on the album. A Quick Peep - Would love to see this turn into a proper song as I love how it sounds! (Probably) All in the Mind - YUCK, one of their worst songs. She Is Love - Meh, not bad. Born On a Different Cloud - Really like this. One of Liam's best with the band really. Better Man - Nice groove but the song doesn't go anywhere, really dig it live though. The Cage - Forgot how this sounds.
