The breeze in this one would keep one quite cool I'd imagine. ----- Opinion on these hats? I've always liked them, thought they should have worn them a lot more Was the releases of remixes on the Dig Out Your Soul singles caused by Noel and Liam falling out?

I'd very much be interested in hearing an alternative version...any possible way I can get this? I will upload it Soundcloud and send it to you in the next couple days. It's a fan edit that I did. Thank you very much, I look forward t hearing it

According to my top 25 most played songs playlist on Apple Music, Hey Now is my most played oasis song. I’m glad I give this song the respect it deserves, everyone should revel in its glory and feel no shame. I think it was mine as well, along with DLBIA. It's an easygoing and well-written song that has a good place on WTSMG. I hate that it went so long, but as someone proficient in working with Audacity, making changes to the song, to where the guitar solo goes right into the final run of the chorus, makes it much better and really gives it its due respect. I'd very much be interested in hearing an alternative version...any possible way I can get this?

(It's Good) To Be Free I'm continuously shocked at how little mention this gets by the pantheon of Oasis fans. The guitar solo is one of Noel's best ever and it SOUNDS FUCKING MEGA!! Today, STILL. Great melody, great tremelo effect on the keys, it's just amazing. Never been a fan of the song. It drags a little towards the end for me and the goddam captain pugwash bit annoys the hell out of me

I will never be able to accept Dig Out Your Soul as anything other than a half baked, half arsed album which showed the division between Liam and Noel. In my mind, it showed Oasis were right to split when they did because this album really did annouce the end of them. It is THE worst album Oasis done and the least cohearant of an album they did out of all of them.
Besides any album that features the absolute travesty that is High Horse Lady can be nothing but the worst thing Oasis have done

It’s good Oasis. Definitely not vintage Oasis. Nothing really was post 1997. Totally different band. Gas Panic and The Turning came the closest. Not classic Oasis obvs but in terms of the melody I think. Agreed, nowhere near vintage Oasis and only classed as great Oasis because of what it is surrounded by

I once written an Oasis musical called Let There Be Love, must see if I can find it. It had several songs and was based around two life long friends when a girl (a literal fallen Angel in my mind) come between them.

I cannot remember the last time I listened to anything from Don't Believe The Truth or Dig Out Your Soul. It's been that long, I can barely remember The Importance of Being Idle You're missing some great songs. Am I though? I mean, I know I do like Turn Up The Sun, Lyla and Guess God Thinks I'm Able (or is it Abel? Always get it confused but anyway)...other than that...

The stuff about there being 30+ songs left over from DBTT was clearly bullshit. He used whatever shite he had left for the first solo album. Then brought it to Dave Sardy to suck any remaining life out of it and plonk his droany vocals on it. Seriously i put HFB on in the car the other day and how it was hailed such a classic on here at the time i will never know. For all of DGSS shortcomings, i never got bored of it like HFB. While HFB is by no means perfect, DGSS is next level shite. It really isn't, it's very listenable, unlike the High Flying Birds album...That is really boring to listen to now playing back

Ideally: Born On A Different Cloud, Lets All Make Believe, All Around The World, Headshrinker or Roll It Over.
Realistically though I don't think he'll end up doing any of them at all. I can see him doing maybe Go Let It Out at some point and maybe I'm Outta Time or something else written by him from after Be Here Now.
As someone has said, I too am very bored with him constantly starting gigs with Rock N Roll Star and Morning Glory. Maybe dropping Morning Glory and shifting Wall Of Glass or Greedy Soul to track 2 would be good. To be honest, I'd like the band to come out to Swamp Song rather than Fucking In The Bushes.

I wouldn't mind if they didn't but if they did get back together and toured...maybe released 1 or 2 songs during the tour as one offs? Like what the Stone Roses did

I have to agree with you to be honest...the demo is ok as an alternative but I'm glad that isn't how I'd like the final song to be Really unpopular among fans but: the album version of The Hindu Times is far better than the demo one.

What do people here think of Who Feels Love? I've always been in two minds about it. I like the melodies and the production for the most part, but at the same time it feels a bit like Noel was scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of ways to ape the fab four. Boring, drags after the halfway point and an absolute travesty for a choice of single

I wasn't going to get involved in this but I just want you say my piece.
That video shows nothing, at least THAT bad really. I've watched and all I can tell is he's flinging his arm and hand out, as if he's just stopping her from walking alongside him. Debbie then reacts by leaning backwards and this makes it look worse than it actually is with the crappy CCTV footage. Debbie then goes round the corner and that's it.
To me, there is NOTHING in that video that makes be disbelieve either Liam or Debbie. Added to that, having grown up in a household that had this type of behaviour, the person committing this act would have shown signs before and, seeing how neither Patsy or Nicole have never mentioned this kind of behaviour leads me more to think it is some scaremongering BS by the Scum and daily fail to ruin the good PR Liam had built up.
I believe Liam and Debbie and I will until proven wrong!

What’s the point of (Get Off Your) High Horse Lady? Maybe Noel should get off his high horse? I don’t need to? The point is that they scratched two, possibly three, tracks off of Dig Out Your Soul because Noel couldn't be arsed to wait for Liam anymore. This track was clearly destined for b-side status along with The Nature of Reality and probably Soldier On. As for the track itself... it's not even close to the worst thing from that album or period of the band. It's listenable at least. It's really is THE single worst thing, not just from that period, but Oasis ever recorded. It's no listenable, the intro alone is awful enough, let alone the effects on Noel's vocals and the rest of the painful track

Was it filmed for a possible release? Or just for the side screens? It would be nice if one of these big gigs get a release, along with that documentary. I was thinking about how good it would be for there to be a double release of the documentary and this gig as a sort of the full year long comeback

After all the messing about me and the partner had to endure before getting in, it was worth it.
The gig was amazingly good...Oasis gig quality good! Liam's vocals were so good and, even if the guitarist wasn't on point completely, the atmosphere was incredible!
I could not of asked for a better gig
