I've always hated the way Don't Believe The Truth sounded. It's all down to Dave Sardy's lifeless production who sucks the entire dynamics out of Oasis songs. With this new project, I plan to address this by remixing the album. I've started with Turn Up The Sun, and I'd love to hear your thoughts compared to the original! Love the remix but you can't blame Sardy. The album was recorded in multiple studios and only given to Sardy at the end |

Ah that sucks, it was a good remix The other guy almost did them all. I listened to SOTSOG so far, some tracks are indeed way better. Some sound almost the same. PYMWYMI sounds huge on his mix. Really monstruous; Little James is also not bad at all... but on WDIAGW for instance, guitar part are completely buried. One thing is certain : if they do things right officially, all Oasis records could get an amazing new life. Missed opportunity for DM, we'll see the rest... |

Great work Supersonic! Fan remixes are fun.
And yeah, the posted remaster above actually made me appreciate this album more. The songs sound better and breathe when the drums aren't pounding against concrete slabs.

Most of the acoustics in his mixes get buried with the bad mastering. |
