I’m very nervous. I really don’t want another devastating fall out and the band truly ends in tatters.
Maybe once I see a joint interview, my concerns will ease a bit.

There are a few realities worth thinking about. I think they'll be a lack of ambition in the setlists, many of us might not be watching something that different to when we went in 2005.

FUCKING GIVE US AN INTERVIEW ALREADY WHERE THEY SMILE AND SHIT THIS IS ANNYOING ME. Even Liam is so quiet on Twitter. They shouldn’t make us wait a year the anticipation would kill me

It absolutely 1000% will be a Greatest Hits tour with little to nothing after 1997. Don't expect stuff like Roll it Over or Bag it Up or The Turning! (as great as those would be).

Oasis should do a one off special gig for hardcore fans who would pay good money to hear the likes of The Turning, Bag It Up, and all the oddities that have yet to be played. Let’s All Make Believe, for example.

There will be no break up before the World tour ends. The producers obviously know the story of the band. The contracts certainly have HUGE penalties (well over £10 million AT LEAST) if there's a split before the tour ends. Worst case scenario would be a dragged out tour with bad vibes and they announce right after it that it was the end of Oasis for good.

Yeah that’s probably one guarantee they will see it out until the end, The money, regarding them splitting again, they probably won’t see each other until they get on stage, not sure if people expect them to start going down the pub together again, can’t see that happening.

Lmao

The promoters aren't coughing up 100million pounds on the chance Liam and Noel split and never get their money back without a fuckload of legally bound contracts in place. The team putting this together know their shit, it goes both ways.
As it stands its only 17 shows over 6 weeks, they'll be fine! It's not like they need to live in each others pockets for 3 years on the road.

No problem in UK/Ireland. Touring USA and Asia ? Dangerous

My sense is there was a sizable upfront payment to both Noel and Liam, with strict PR policies and breakage clauses. Which would explain the strange silence on social media by Liam and will ensure the UK gigs happen, even if they don’t talk to each backstage.

I have full faith in them that they will play the tour and not split before it …however I did pay the extra £4 insurance cover on the tickets just in case! 😂
I’m sure we’ll be drip fed content for the next year leading up to the tour. I’d imagine the promotional people behind the scenes will be looking at this scientifically and will squeeze every ounce out of it …and I’ll be lapping up every bit of it!

The penalty clauses will be pretty robust. There is considerable risk in this venture. Fingers crossed it turns out to be a huge success.

On one hand, I do think they'll definitely be putting together the setlist to appeal to the largest group possible, ie not us hardcore fans. OTOH, Liam has shown quite a lot of ambition with his setlists, and I think he'll want to get at least a couple nice surprises in there. Probably nothing shocking, but for example I expect we'll get a couple of songs from the 00s.

Aside from those, perhaps Lyla, and either Gas Panic or Go Let It Out. Maybe an outside chance of Shock Of The Lightning.
