With Oasis back together, I thought I'd make a simple thread that can have dozens of unique answers as we all rejoice.
For me, it was The Hindu Times. I was having a bad year in high school, I listened to a bit of Oasis as my sister went to see them in 2008. Around late 2009-early 2010 I got into them. In my reccomended videos was The Hindu Times. The whole vibe of the song really turned around my mood, the opening line was exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. It remains one of my absolute favorites.
You're my sunshine, you're my rain.

Its good to be free
Random one, I know. We used to play footy on the field near my house and one of my friends sisters had a boyfriend, and he'd always be sat in his car blasting music right by the field.
I'd been playing guitar since 6 yrs old anyway, im half sinti and had been taught gypsy jazz guitar from a young age but I'd have been about 10 or 11 at this point and I heard the feedback and opening riff and thought "that guitar sound is good" along with hearing that A to Am change, which is always nice in songs.
I asked him who it was and he said Oasis. I already knew of the band and some songs but that one grabbed me a bit more.

Roll With It. Nicked my dads copy of WTSMG and played it over and over again on repeat. Funnily enough, not massive on it these days but was obsessed with it years ago. This would have been 1998 / 1999 ish.

Live Forever. I saw the U.S. version of the video on MTV when it came out. Hated it the first time I saw it. "Who the hell is singing in a falsetto?!" And then two or three times later, I had to go buy Definitely Maybe. After I had the CD it was either Slide Away or Supersonic or Columbia as well as LF that was my favorite, depending on the day.

Bought DM on week of release without knowing much about them. Went home put it in the cd player. Like all the songs but Columbia was the one that grabbed me most on first listen.

DYKWIM. I heard about thirty seconds of it as part of a youtube video about Be Here Now being a colossal failure, went "now wait a minute," and the rest is history. I had just the one song on constant rotation for about a month before I really started getting into the rest of their music.

It wasn't a specific song although if I had to choose one I would have to say Champagne Supernova. I'm in Canada and DM didn't get a lot of attention around here. Things started to really blow up with Wonderwall, then Don't Look Back in Anger but yeah, I guess what got me hooked was Champagne Supernova, which remains one of my all time favourite Oasis songs. Soon after, "There and then..." ran on TV and I recorded it on a cassette that I started listening to on loop for months. That's how I discovered Live Forever, Acquiesce, Some Might Say and other classics. I received both DM and MG on Christmas of 1996. That how the obsession started.

I was 16 when WTSMG came out. I remember seeing the Wonderwall video on MTV and thinking "Wow, I like this song and band" but it wasn't until I saw the Champagne Supernova video that I was truly absolutely blown away. Girl in class made me a copy of WTSMG on cassette and my journey really started from there. I wish I could say I was with them from the DM days, but honestly, I don't remember them getting as much hype in the US until WTSMG, although I do remember a friend telling me after the fact that he remembered seeing the Supersonic video on MTV's Alternative Nation or one of those MTV shows back in 1994.

Hmm... I think it would've been 'Morning Glory'? When we first got Sky TV I'd explore the music section and that was one of my favourites which seemed to come up a lot. 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana and 'Give It Away' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers were two of the other big ones for me. I'd hazard a guess this would've been around around 2004/2005 maybe when I was 11 or 12 but I could be wrong. Obviously 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and 'Champagne Supernova' (and some others) were all on heavy rotation too.
I was probably somewhat aware of them anyway as the radio was on a lot in our house as my parents ran a B&B from there for about a decade. They primarily like indie and rock music and would play CDs as well as the radio for the guests. I think 'What's the Story (Morning Glory?)' was one of those CD's? I can recall 'The Importance of Being Idle' and 'Lyla' getting radio airplay and liking both of them. Likewise my parents were fans of The Royal Family and I liked the theme tune to that too.
I don't recall if I ripped the CD onto the family computer or I pieced it together downloading the songs from Limewire. Nirvana's 'Nevermind' was definitely in the latter camp. I remember hearing that 'Definitely Maybe' was also considered a very good album by Oasis so curiously downloaded a few songs on Limewire and thinking "Nah, 'Morning Glory' is much better!". Oh the fool I was, haha. I think quite shortly after that 'Definitely Maybe' grew on me, song by song, I became a fan of that record too. The rest of the albums probably followed within a year or two. 'Dig Out your Soul' probably would've been the only album they released during which I can say I was definitely a fan.
Lurked on hear for a little bit then signed up in 2013 when I was at university. The high activity on this forum (much higher than any of the other music forums I was looking at at the time) is probably what help supercharge my fandom of them.

Rock n Roll Star
I was late to the party ('95/'96 I think) and I'd heard a few others before that ... but when someone stuck this one on ... I was IN.

‘The Importance of Being Idle’.
I was 10 years old, it was a Saturday in 2005, (February), randomly they were playing their video in rotation.
I remained convinced that the singer of Oasis was Rhys Ifans. Lol

Supersonic. Autumn 1994.
Fun fact - Definitely Maybe was released on my birthday 1994... Which is, as it happens, today 😄

Predictably, it was Wonderwall.
One winter evening, I was on my way back from school, feeling tired and a bit unwell, when Wonderwall started playing on the radio. It was such a revelation. I knew immediately that I loved the song, the singer, the band. As soon as I got home, I downloaded a few Oasis tracks through WinMX (anyone else remember that?), and well... the rest is history.
I’d rather not think about how much money I’ve spent on music and stuff related to this fucking band!

Columbia.
I was quite dismissive of Oasis when I first heard and saw them, as I had loved The Roses, and really liked the Mondays, and Oasis seemed like a very dull band in comparison.
Columbia really got to me though, it felt like a mix of a Very Heavy Mondays / Late 89 Roses Track, (and still does, it's fantastic), a tune you can lose yourself into, nice... I wish they did a few more like that.
Led me to give them more of a chance for sure.

Guess the one that really set things in motion was seeing The Hindu Times on Top Of The Pops at the age of 5. Really dug it, especially Liam’s voice, and thought he looked so cool on the show.
I later saw them do Stop Crying Your Heart Out, and realised the singer sounded like a tune I’d heard on the radio about “throwing it back to you”. I asked my dad, and he got out his DM and WTSMG cds. The rest is history

Go Let It Out was the first music video that I remember watching while the band was still active back in 2001, Lyla was the song I heard from the fifa 06 demo and the full game afterwards and then I watched the 7 ages of rock documentary episode about britpop and here we are almost 18 years later with one new account.

I liked Stand By Me and All Around The World in 1997-98... ...which led me to randomly download Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, Little By Little and Supersonic in the summer of 2003... ...which led me to buy Be Here Now and later on Definitely Maybe in 2003... ...which led me to buy The Masterplan in the summer of 2004 and that is where it really hit me... ...which led me to buy all other albums asap and throroughly consume everything Oasis I could find.
And I remember that Going Nowhere, Stay Young and Acquiesce were among my early favourites on The Masterplan. It was inexplainably good.
