I stayed at home for the announcement and came into the office about 10 minutes later to work. Or that would've been a case if my job was to hang aroung on the forum for the rest of the day. Can't remember the last time I was this excited.

I was working as a cashier (a nightmare of a job) to pay for my studies/music recordings so I didn't see it at 8am (9am in France) but a bit later when I had a 15 minutes break. I checked my phone right away and then celebrated alone in the break room as if I had won a tennis match 😂

Sat in bed on me phone waiting for it. It didn’t exactly come out of the blue since we all knew it was happening!!

It was real madness.

Was at Reading the previous night and saw the screens with the classic logo and time/date, so that’s when I really lost it. 🤣

Straight to the bar I went for a celebratory cider!

Thanks to L4E I was already super hyped in the days leading up to it. Was at work, had to push a meeting back for 20min just to make sure my schedule was clear. Was buzzing on my seat, constantly refreshing the forum. When it finally happens I stood up n ran into the recording room to have a quiet cry. Several friends of mine who are die-hard Oasis fans messaged me right away!

Had to eventually go about the meeting after 10 mins of hysterical frenzy, with the biggest grin on my face (heck I’m a project manger i rarely smile at work!) - what do these people know? Maybe they just thought I was really happy that they met the Sprint goals

I was on holiday, just after breakfast my girlfriend and I were heading out to explore Barcelona but I was constantly refreshing the Oasis website which crashed shortly before. I'll never forget the moment the page loaded and the image of the brothers appeared. Even if my initial thought was "that's it?" I thought it was photoshoped. Then I watched the video and got very hyped, althought I won't be attending those shows but it finally hit me, they're back.

At home, I was watching BBC Breakfast as usual. when the major of Manchester came on live around at 8:50 (we're an hour forward here) and the presentor said "we'll be back with a big news" just before 9 AM, I knew my worst fear would become real.

We all knew it was coming due to the couple days beforehand. I was WFH and I start at 8am. I got logged in a bit earlier than normal ready for the announcement. Got my morning admin out of the way and then just soaked it up from about 8am to 10am then back working. Didn't get much done that day but enough to get by.

At home in my office. I was on my PC from about 7.50am. I went straight to Oasisinet.com and to be expected, the whole thing had crashed. I was refreshing Oasis twitter page and that hadn't gone live at 8am. The video trailer popped up on the twitter page and I watched that.

I got all the info from the big reunion mega thread on this site instead. The finally I saw the picture load and there it was.

I'm a teacher. 3 hours ahead of GMT and it was my kids' first day back to school.

Not sure if there are any teachers here, but the first day is always dreadful. Boring, long and pointless but needs to be done. No work is ever done and it is just getting to know you activities and whatnot. You also need to be an assertive and authoritative figure, making sure the expectations are clear to the children.

Anyway, the announcement is at 11 o'clock our time and I had an alarm set for 10.59, so I could sneak out into the corridor and watch it. I had the luxury of having some pretty good sources so I KNEW it was happening but needed to see it with my own eyes. Legged it out of the classroom and watched it. Tears in my eyes.

Walked back in and was so buzzing that I stuck netflix on and headed straight to the forum to see everyone's thoughts.

I was in a Chipolte in Reisterstown Maryland when Oasis broke up and I set my alarm for 3 am to hear about the reunion officially in my own home in New Jersey. The only difference being I was 28, now I’m 43!!!

After a sleepless night waiting for it, I was sitting in bed watching on my laptop with tears streaming down my face.

And then had to get myself together and go to work where I thought of nothing but oasis for the day.

Not when it was confirmed, but I read the Times article while at a concert, between sets and waiting for the main act to come on. That was pretty much perfect, because I only really started getting into live music in the past few years, after getting into Oasis.

When it was confirmed, I was sitting up past my bedtime to read the announcement.

I woke up and checked my phone and I had an email notification for Oasis reunion shows.

I was awake until 3 am and was listening to fade in out when the comeback was announced, near the guitar solo/noel scream when i reloaded the page and it showed the poster of live 25

Off topic, but that's Noel screaming? I always assumed it was Liam.
