His twitter's always been pretty silly tbf! That's what I love about it, it's not corporate at all I’m fine with it not being corporate. I’m not expecting press releases. But his repeating of the same stuff over and over again is getting pretty boring for me. He's always done it that's the thing, he'll get fixated on a certain word/phrase and stick to it for months. The real interesting stuff is in his replies!

I unfollowed him a while ago because he was pandering to the teenagers and teenage lingo ain't my thing, followed him again after the reunion but not much has changed. I'm basically just looking out for updates or announcements.

Re: Liam’s twitter…. Liam has always had a playful side. It’s good to see him express it. I also think that’s the side Noel has trouble tolerating when in Oasis together so it’s important for Liam to have an outlet such as twitter.
I personally don’t bother with twitter, though.

the good thing about any social media if you dont like it dont follow or block and be on your way.
Liam been doing it good 15 years? now so dont think it or he's hugely changed, so while defo playing to a crowd, he's not just playing to the crowd now

I can’t just unfollow or block one of my best sources. Liam needs to value my precious time more 😝

Liam is literally the only reason I have twitter. His nonsense tweets and witty replies just bring me joy.

As a Gen X-er here in America, Nirvana and grunge were the last major seismic shift in culture that I personally embraced, and then I found Oasis & Britpop -- but I always felt I was in the minority in loving Oasis. Oasis were big for a year or two, but were never a cultural phenomenon. The U.S. music scene after grunge went right into the musical collage that was Linkin Park/Limp Bizkit/Korn/Slipknot + Gangsta Rap that dominated the late 90s/early 2000s here in the U.S. I've always wished Oasis stayed popular here past WTSMG, but I also kinda enjoyed having our "exclusive club" for the past 25 years. What a dark time that was for popular music. The nu-metal stuff in particular... Hideous.

As for Italy, I can assure you that Linkin Park have the same notoriety as Oasis, if not slightly more. Between 2002 and 2010, most of my friends listened to Linkin Park and didn't know Oasis (they only got to know Oasis thanks to me). I still know people who are 35 years old today who love and collect Linkin Park albums and know very little about Oasis. The little bit of Oasis they know, they don't even appreciate. In the last two weeks, Virgin Radio Italia (which also often talks about Oasis) has been doing a huge promotion of the LPs. Even on Italian social media, the LPs have temporarily overshadowed the Oasis reunion. I have honestly never liked the Oasis staff. They have always handled things rather badly and the idea of not taking advantage of all the (international) hype that there was a while ago is unjustifiable and idiotic. They had achieved immense media coverage, everyone was talking about them even in my country where almost no one knew them. It was time to add "wood to the fire", instead they immediately fell silent after the ticket sales and now the LPs have taken their place and continue to do so constantly. Wrong. I’m italian too. And Oasis still much bigger than Linkin Park here, at least in people of my generation (30-40).

Worst reunion ever so far, so boring... No press conference, no interviews, nothing.

I’m personally still miffed about that trailer. We couldn’t have gotten new footage with new voiceovers?
At what point do we all become concerned about the silence. I can’t believe management allowed the hype to literally die.

Perhaps Liam and Noel still can't really stand each other. But then again, they could do interviews on radio programs and such separately.

Perhaps Liam and Noel still can't really stand each other. But then again, they could do interviews on radio programs and such separately. What you’ve described is pretty much the approach taken their whole career. There have only been select instances where they have formally been interviewed together. It’s harder to assess at their peak, free to fill any gaps! 1994- their first interview 1994- post Amsterdam (does this even count) 1994- interview in Paris at release of DM 1995-? 1996-? 1997-? 1998-? 1999- press conference when B and G left 2000- interviews with Q/ NME around the time of the new lineup 2000- mojo mag post sotog tour 2001- that interview for noise and confusion 2001- wasn’t there an interview just after 9/11 in NME? 2002- HC epk, and the interview used on the dvd singles (sorry don’t know the show it was taken from…cduk?) 2002- NME with the band for HC? 2004- Dm 10 year anniversary 2005- epk DBTT 2007- epk for STC

If their kids are happy and they’re laughing and joking in the photo shoot then why can’t they stand each other? Their kids are mostly young adults now. They are probably free to make their own choices without their parents dictating how they live their lives. At least I hope so.

For 1994 alone you can even find more on YouTube. And they've done lots more together for print and also radio over the years, so there's no video and many weren't really high profile stuff that people remember now

The earliest concert is 9 and a bit months away, just relax. They're not going to blow everything with 9 months to go, Liam still had a few gigs left to wrap up.
Rehearsals won't even start until probably May or June. If the US shows aren't selling out they'll really ramp up the publicity and it will be the first time we've heard anything from them

The other theory would be that they reconciled years ago and that it is just a game for them.
The bad bad words have disappeared for a while now it seems, at least from the few interviews ive seen.
The rivalry has always been used to sell, so this is nothing new.
