Do you think we'll get a documentary film to go with this tour, along the lines of Lord Don't Slow Me Down or As It Was? The likes of Netflix or Amazon would pay a lot, so it's possible. I guess it also depends on relations in the band. Are they really all getting along, or is it just Liam and Noel staying and travelling separately, only seeing each other on stage to get paid. If it's the latter, then I think they'd be hesitant to be having camera crews following it all. Yeah, I agree with you about Netflix and Amazon Prime. Also, what about Paramount +? I'm sure they might be interested as well, like they did with Liam's Knebworth film.

Are you seriously discounting Lock all the Doors, You Know You Can’t Go Back, Step out, and Full On? I'll give you Full On and Lord Don't Slow Me Down. The rest are just... regular rock. Come on... you got to give me You Know We Can't Go Back as well...

Please don't start the film with the opening of a bottle. That Was a waste of like 5 minutes in the intro 🙃 To be honest I haven't watched that film in a very long time so I can't remember how the film opens. I imagine the film is a bit of a slog without the ban commentary.

You clearly didn't read the comments from the photographer who took the photos. He said the room was buzzing and Liam and Noel were laughing smiling and joking around and it was amazing That was the quote Added to that, Anaïs, Lennon and Gene seem to be getting on great these days so I'm more inclined to believe they really are all happy families! Yeh, it is all quite odd though. I mean, we don't actually have the remotest idea what the purpose of this tour is. We all assumed before it was announced it would be tied to the Morning Glory 30th anniversary but that hasn't been mentioned. We haven't actually been given a reason why now? Of course we can make our own guesses but it is quite odd after 15 years and all the talk to just say....nothing. Is it for Morning Glory? Who knows? Is it a lap of honour and chance for the younger generation to hear them? Who knows. Is it because Noel just lost half his money in a divorce? Who knows (yes, at least to a very substantial degree). Is it because they started to build bridges following Noel's divorce, started getting on and decided they fancied taking Oasis out for a spin? Who knows. Is it because Noel wanted to play with Liam's dog? Who knows. Now while I think money is the principal reason Noel has finally responded to Liam's overtures, I don't discount that it's possible that post divorce, it would have become easier for them to build bridges. Liam and Sara clearly despised each other, and I don't blame either since I, like anyone else here, don't know what really went on. Maybe it became less complicated and there has been space to be civil which made it easier for Noel to do what he realised he probably needs to do anyway after losing half his wealth. I say 'needs' from his point of view, not ours. Of course he could never work again and has more money than we could dream of, but he lives in a different world, with an expensive lifestyle, and how many rich people do you ever see deciding they have enough and won't chase more? Anyway, it would be nice to at least hear their version of what has gone on. I don't abide the line of 'they didn't need to do more to sell the tickets so why should they' at all. It doesn't matter if they needed to do more, one would hope they might have a bit of enthusiasm for all this that they could have shared with us? That they might think the fans deserve a word after waiting 1t years? Yes the casuals might not care, but I think it would make us all feel more excited if we could see them being excited and saying something about their plans and motivations. I feel like I'm on a plane where the pilot hasn't said a word before take off or the entire flight. Is there actually anyone up there? (And Liam's tweets don't count, he still hasn't said anything remotely meaningful!). Don't get me wrong, I'm hugely excited to be there. I just wish they weren't being so weird about it all. Noel in particular has obviously decided he doesn't want to say anything. Why?

I reckon there has to be a valid reason for their inaction because we should safely assume that their silence is intentional at this point. Other than future gig announcements, there must be something relatively important in the works.

I think Oasis have done a Nikacado Avocado but over 15 years, not just 2.
They have always been in contact and the families get on well, and it's all been a ruse.
They have always been 2 Steps Ahead.

The kick off gig isn’t until July next year. Too much marketing, overexposure, and people will be tired of hearing from them by that point. Let the music do the talking for now. With or without next music, I imagine we’ll get plenty of interviews the closer we get to the actual start.

It must be mental behind the scenes with all the various media outlets vying to be the first one to get an interview with them.

I don't quite understand what's wrong with the media "silence". It seems like a very sensible approach to me. And I'm sure it's deliberate. Noel and Liam don't need the media; but the media need them.
In terms of reducing potential risks to the success of the comeback tour, avoiding (or at least strongly controlling) the amount of media comment and exposure is surely at the top of the list.
Noel and Liam don't owe the public an interview or any other form of media content. They've announced a tour, sold it out, why exactly do they need to do any media? For what reason exactly?

To satisfy my and our personal need to see them together again. I don’t want to wait a year for this to happen.

Any chance we might see Noel make an appearance at Wembley later?

Any chance we might see Noel make an appearance at Wembley later? I'd say no, the rumours and leaked news would be out of control by now if it was happening However, the man running the event is Turki Alalshikh and he's thrown so much money at boxing that it's getting fights made that couldn't be before for various reasons such as fighters being with different promoters and broadcasters. He's got all the promoters and broadcasters working together because he has so much Saudi money. His whole thing is taking boxing to new levels as a huge spectacle, such as having Eminem performing at a boxing event last month. If there's any man that would throw half a mil at Noel Gallagher to get him to turn up so he can say he really put on the first Oasis reunion, it's Turki Alalshikh. So although I would not rule out Turki being prepared to offer Noel enough to tempt him, I just can't Liam and Noel reuniting at a boxing event, knowing they're getting huge money for next year anyway. Besides, Liam is there with his band. It just seems highly unlikely that Noel is gonna get on stage with them in that format He's definitely got the money to tempt Noel and the vision to do something like that to promote Riyadh Season..

Noel and Liam don't owe the public an interview or any other form of media content. They've announced a tour, sold it out, why exactly do they need to do any media? For what reason exactly? They don't owe us anything sure, but nothing wrong with a nice gesture to fans who spent a shitload of money on tickets especially as some of those fans got fleeced. Added to that this isn't an ordinary reunion, it's been 15 years of alleged conflict between the two brothers right up until recently. No-one suspected a thing until the rumours started up. So fans rightly wanna know what brought the two together, what the tour is for etc. They don't need to tell us their life stories but a little explanation would go a long way. The longer the silence and no photos of the two together goes on the more it looks like this is a pure business arrangement and nothing else. Don't get me wrong I'm happy enough to see Oasis on the stage again but considering Liam is on about giving back to the fans it's just a very odd way for them to handling things. Should add Liam seems to be doing his level best on twitter to give a rosy impression and good on him. Noel's silence is the odd part.

North American Tour Announcement Next Friday Source? Oasis will announce the dates for their North America tour next Friday, the Sun reported. The band are expected to play in New York and Los Angeles, as well as Chicago and Boston. A source said: “Noel and Liam will be announcing their shows in the US on Friday" "It’s going to be a handful of massive dates in major cities. Brits living in New York and Los Angeles should have a decent chance at getting themselves a ticket" "Oasis don’t want a repeat of the issues they had with tickets for their home gigs but they are expecting the same huge demand they saw here"

I wouldn't call it that but I just don't think it's one of the best things they've released and it's no where near as good as the Supersonic or Knebworth films.

The longer they wait to give interviews together and the less pics, the bigger the anticipation and joy for when they walk out on that stage together at Cardiff

Any thread about Liam G singing at the boxing tonight (and Possibly Noel Joining him, but I think that is Very Unlikely) ?
I am hoping it will be like James Brown doing Livin' In America in Rocky 4...

Odd for tonight’s 3 song set to be broadcast live on the radio……..it’s almost as if they know a reason why it should be recorded 👀
