Let's do a vote on the Album like we did on the Reunion so we can watch the percentages switch once the album is announced the same way the Reunion was.. A very important detail is they have described the tour as Oasis Live´25. Simply as that. Not Oasis WTSMG 30th anniversary Tour or Oasis Greatest Hits Tour. And they haven´t never pointed out this as an only reunion tour where the band is going to play their hits. It´s all tremendously ambiguous

Let's do a vote on the Album like we did on the Reunion so we can watch the percentages switch once the album is announced the same way the Reunion was.. Has no one learned yet...lol. A new album is on route... Another nugget for the non-believers is this... Noel always bashed and put down living in the past musically. By releasing a new Oasis album he saves some face because it's not just a reunion tour playing old classics. He can sprinkle 2-3 new ones in there and keep it a bit fresh for himself. Here are some key points to note: 1. Noel working on "defiant rock album" shelved accoustic record. 2. Oasis fully Maximizing on Reunion with a tour and new album 3. Liams voice is in top form 4. Keeps Reunion tour fresh and Noel can talk about new music and recording during the press tour instead of the same old questions about old songs etc. 5. Noel has had 15 years to bank bangers and tunes "Liam would sound better singing" Also to add... I do believe this album will have some great solos. I think Noel's competitive side got ignited when Liam started working with Squire. I said this in the forum months back when LGJS came out. Noel saw Liam for the 1st time with a world-class guitarist and a decent songwriter. It was almost like a mini threat to him. He never cared about Liam as a solo artist but I fully believed that changed when he connected with Squire. He even sucked out a bit with the Rainbow color jabs on Matt Morgan lol. New Album is coming. Book it Agreed.

You Know You Can’t Go Back Open the Door See What You Find Full On Lock All The Doors Do the Damage Dream On Aka… What a Life? Acquiesce Falling Down Lord Don’t Slow Me Down Mucky Fingers Step Out And every banger that Liam sang, that Noel wrote. They were all sung by Noel first. He’s shown he can do it, so I for one would still like to see the HFBs defiant rock album just as much as I’d like to see a new Oasis album. Pretty much all of those would be improved by a Liam vocal Lord Don't Slow Me Down with Liam on vocals is much better. I disagree again. LDSMD with Liam was clear to me that not all songs are Liam’s thing. I love Liam’s vocals, I really do, but Noel suits some songs better IMO.

Acquiesce Falling Down Lord Don’t Slow Me Down Mucky Fingers Step Out And every banger that Liam sang, that Noel wrote. They were all sung by Noel first. . God knows he can write defiant songs, and yeah he can sing them. But we all know Oasis could've never been as big as they were if Liam wasn't the one singing Bring it on down, Columbia or Supersonic. That was true in 1993 and still is in 2024. Also, I love Open The Door but I would've never thought of it as a defiant rock song! I fully agree that Oasis would be nowhere without Liam and Noel. But they both proved that they can sing in Oasis, and that both have successful solo careers. People pretend that Noel’s solo writing is bad, even Liam, when they all know that most of those songs would have been Oasis songs. Faster maybe, different arrangements maybe, but still written by the guy that was one half of the reason the band took off.

Which bangers in his solo career or Oasis really constitute 'defiant rock'? You Know You Can’t Go Back Open the Door See What You Find Full On Lock All The Doors Do the Damage Dream On Aka… What a Life? He’s shown he can do it, so I for one would still like to see the HFBs defiant rock album just as much as I’d like to see a new Oasis album. I think it's debatable whether a lot of those are either 'defiant' or 'bangers' or wouldn't be improved by Liam singing them.

You'll always get the cool musician types reminding everyone how much better off he is in Ride. Try telling his bank balance that. Yeah he's great at writing songs where he can hide behind instrumentals, but if anything it just shows me how amazing it is that Noel still manages to do what he does. The melody has to be at the forefront of everything he does and that's always the hardest part. Extremely narrow-minded view, that. Would you tell King Crimson or black midi that they were hiding behind instrumentals or is it possible that not all music needs to have a catchy melody to make it worthwhile? Doesn't have to be. But Noel was never in a position he could do that in Oasis.

Do you think we'll get a documentary film to go with this tour, along the lines of Lord Don't Slow Me Down or As It Was?

I like the duet version where each sings a verse; Because its kinda repetitive, so it adds something. + we dont really have anything but a rough vocals from Liam. I really enjoy both versions. But Noel's vocals during DBTT are spot on, this is when he really evolved as a singer.

Book it And the way Noel said he doesn't want John Squire to play Oasis songs also made me think he's not pleased with John basically taking his role as the guitarist/songwriter on Liam's side. I don't agree with that Noel never cared about Liam as a solo artist though, to me it was very obvious that it affected him a lot, although he tried to act that he doesn't care. When Liam went solo he became very bitter and vicious and started to hide behind sunglasses in all interviews, so we wouldn't see his face when asked about Liam

I think Liam was taking the piss, I guess we'll have to see Nah I think he’s telling the truth here. I don’t use twitter so I don’t have the screenshot, but just before this all broke open back in August someone asked Liam if the band would be Noel, Liam, Gem, Andy, Chris, and Bonehead. Liam replied with: “close.” So far in this thread there’s been questions regarding Andy and/or Chris…. I think Chris makes it, but Liam already hinted at a new member a month ago.
