Indeed. Some on here have liked to think Liam is different to Noel somehow, more real, it turns out now that they are exactly the same. And maybe Liam also only ever wanted a reunion for the money. Their last ever gig left a bunch of fans disappointed because they had a fight backstage. Their next gigs they do don't seem to even be bothered to give the fans any reason to think it will be fun or exciting or anything other than a couple of people doing the minimum to grab some cash. i.e. exactly the same as their last tour. I have a ticket but if I have to see two miserable souls on stage like the DOYS tour I reserve my right to be a bit pissed off. Why be so miserable about everything before it even started? Just yesterday Liam has said on Twitter why he wants to do the reunion and that it's not about the money. If you don't want to believe him, that's your choice, but don't act like that he hasn't already outright denied your claims.

uk.news.yahoo.com/oasis-reunion-set-around-world-213648458.htmlThe Oasis reunion is set to go all around the world after they 'verbally agreed' to play shows in America, it has been reported. After the band's huge UK and Ireland tour the brothers from Burnage are rumoured to be plotting a trip across the pond in stadiums on the east and west coast, as well as in Mexico and Argentina. Oasis could play the 70,000 seat SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles as part of the jaunt, The Mirror reports. A source told the paper said: “Their promoters at Live Nation are incredibly keen for this to happen, and Liam and Noel have verbally agreed plans. The question of if they will manage to go the duration of the tour without falling out has been raised, but there is now a massive financial incentive for them to keep the show on the road.” READ MORE: Oasis confirm ticket ballot details for new Wembley dates as fans to get emails A US leg of Oasis Live ’25 may increase the band’s profits to more than £500million. Billboards appeared to tease US dates. Electronic messages in New York’s Times Square featured the Amazon Music logo, a pic of the Gallaghers and the message: “If we need to put up a billboard to get these guys to come to the States, here it is.” Last week there was online chaos in the scramble for Oasis’s 17 UK and Irish gigs. Fans waited for hours on Ticketmaster only to be accused of being bots or falling victim to dynamic pricing – being asked to pay £355, instead of the expected £148.50 for standing tickets. The band said they were unaware the vendor was to use “dynamic pricing” and left all decisions around prices to their management and promotion teams. Ticketmaster now faces a Competition and Markets Authority probe into whether it broke consumer protection law. After the furore, Oasis announced new Wembley Stadium dates on September 27 and 28 using a lottery system. A second source claimed Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, had “cut out” their respective booking agents from US tour negotiations, which left “a sour taste”. A spokesman would not comment on speculation around dates outside of Europe. Tonight, the band announced details of how fans can try and get hold of tickets for two extra shows in September at Wembley Stadium. Fans can enter a ballot for the chance to receive a code so they can buy tickets for the gigs.

From Billboard How Big Could an Oasis U.S. Tour Be?Of note: - Oasis averaged 12,000 people a gig on DOYS tour in 2008/2009 - granted, this tour saw them play multiple nights at smaller arenas in the UK on that first leg rather than one big stadium show
- Oasis were a far bigger touring act overall in the 2000s than the height of their 1994-1997 success
- They were similar in stature as touring act to Green Day in the 90s and 2000s, mix of arenas and theatres
- Bands like Blink-182, Green Day and My Chemical Romance are far bigger draws/more lucrative as touring acts now than they were in their prime
- In the United States specifically, Oasis’ catalog was streamed 13.5 million times the week of the reunion announcement; a 150% increase
- Oasis has grossed $45.2 million and sold 1.1 million tickets across 150 reported shows since the release of Definitely Maybe

I would also like the band to perform 1 new song per night
This is there best chance to knock out some songs which haven't been played live in concert
Understand you got to play the hits but surely there is some tunes from past albums and singles that would make great additions to the set list ?

I was just hoping he was gonna say they were back for good I was happy with his answer. Everyone is kind of expecting they'll do 2 years and be done but this gives us hope that oasis might continue for years to come.

I was just hoping he was gonna say they were back for good I think it was a fair answer. Every original look member, save Tony has proven at one point or another that they have a limit. Guigsy left twice, and the second time dropped comply out of the spotlight. Bonehead left on his own, and how long did it take before he dipped his toes back in with Liam? Alan left or was asked to leave, I’m still not clear on that one. Liam showed over and over again that he has limits by not showing to rehearsals or gigs, or sabotaging gigs, and Noel also left more than once, and now sees what life is like on the other side of the rainbow. He likes the solo career and said it was more fun. But the point is, they are mostly all back. So they did miss it in some way. Maybe it’s the money, maybe it’s just the attraction to what Oasis was. Maybe it’s for the fans. Maybe it’s all of the available factors. No way it’s not about money but it doesn’t have to just be about the money. The point is they all came back and we don’t truly yet know how, or what each person’s deciding factors are, and they haven’t even played a show yet. I doubt any of them, knowing the drama of the past, as fully committed until the see how everyone is together again. We know that Noel has been seen at a studio, so are they recording? Because that’s another factor that they have to see again. So I think it’s fair after 15 years that they take baby steps towards seeing what the future really holds. But the fact that he didn’t say “it’s just for the reunion tour“ is a great sign. Because that means that something more long term is possible.

He would have been planning this for years. It's of no surprise that it's come at a time when we have two 30th releases coming out and he gets the rights to his back catalogue next year. I would imagine the he's probably added £50m to the music rights sale alone from this. Liam on the other hand will be doing this to be in the spotlight. He's always been unhappy since Robbie was selling stadiums and he was in theatres with BE.

Two of their worst! Acquiesce is a must for me, I'm afraid. And I see nothing wrong with Roll With It. There are loads of great songs they could play, I'll be very curious to see how they actually boil it down.

Not sure how I feel about that The harder they play ball, even now, the better it is for them in negotiations for £££. "oh you want us to play into 2027? not sure how I feel about that..." "We'll give you residencies at Co-op and O2 Arenas, 20 nights at each across the year like Peter Kay. You'll gross another £1 million each per show." "That's a lot of shows... neither of us live in Manchester anymore" "£1.5 million each" "Ok, but I'm not happy about it..."

I wish Liam would chill a bit on Twitter. It's funny for a bit then it's not. Telling fans to get a refund if they don't like it isn't a good look. It's Liam Gallagher...
