The Noel VS Liam argument got stale in 2017.
Just move on, who cares.

Agreed, PLEASE no more Noel v Liam.
It all ended in a score draw with both of their careers excelling in different aspects.
Hence we have Oasis.
They’re on the same team now.

A thread about a REUNION and people are still doing the whole Liam vs Noel thing. Wow, the irony. Take it somewhere else.

Whitey is in the band … the next year is a big year for the band it’s 30 years of their top 3 albums , they get the rights back and their demand is almost as big as ever .. and will all these anti Noel , anti Liam so called fans piss off ?? If it’s not ticket issues it’s why they fell out .. it’s the oasis story end of .. go elsewhere

I’ve been in a great mood lately, I attribute that to the Oasis reunion…
I also happened to start shock treatments last week.
God bless.

My guess is there’s NDAs over all of them atm, but I do think if Whitey isnt involved he should stop teasing fans like this.
As no doubt a fair few people will want him on board. So its only building up to a letdown.
Then again, maybe hes in…

Whitey is banging the drums on social media(no pun intended) BUT I'd definitely prefer Chris nowadays. Less nostalgia but the better musician and playing with Noel and the guys for years aswell.
Never heard about any relationship or connection with Liam over the years so that would be even more odd having him back now after all the time. Don't see this happening.

During the covid lockdowns, when Alan came out of his cave and started playing the drums again, I’m sure Liam did like a couple of his videos. He’s taken most of them down now though.

I saw Oasis twice during the DOYS tour. First one was in Amsterdam. Here Liam's voice was.. not great. You could feel there was not a lot enjoyment from the band itself.
The second time during the tour was at the Werchter festival. This gig was amazing. His voice was a lot better and there and the set was great (my big mouth was played).
Looking back, I think the reason why Werchter was interesting is the set was different (the DOYS set was a drag, always the same) and Liam was on fire most likely because the tensions in the band were very very high.
As per setlist.fm: As Liam finished singing the last song, he went frontstage to watch his own band playing, shook hands with some fans at the front row, gave his microphone to one of them, asked for a cigarette and applauded firstly Noel and then rest of his band
Not long after they broke up the band.
I hope they find joy in playing together again and that it doesn't become a drag which it definitely was during the DOYS tour with some exceptions.

Band postponed the Dusseldorf gig a day (or 2 days? can't remember) prior to Amsterdam due to Liam's voice issue. At the time when my friend from Manchester arrived in Amsterdam, we didn't know whether the gig would go or not. Liam apologised for his "shocking voice" of the first night on the second night.
