The official Oasis account on Insta seem to have purged a lot of people they were following. Just noticed this too, how strange May just be preparing to launch some content

Just noticed this too, how strange Who exactly? I can't remember exactly but I know they definitely followed far more than two people, including Brian Garcia (OasisDNA)

Assuming that no UK/Ireland dates are added, I think that they should reverse course and televise the first concert in Cardiff live on YouTube (or some comparable platform) as a way to make it up to disloyal fans. Glasgow Barrowlands 2001 was a pay-per-view concert on Sky the day after the gig so they do have form for this. Then again Wembley 2000 2nd night was on Sky One which didn't require payment beyond Sky sub-scription so there's also that as well. I'd be over the moon if there was a pro-shot brodcast of the first reunion gig. Was talking to my Dad earlier, was discussing whether they might add more dates in June due to demand at say London Stadium to make up for Wembley being busy.

Everyone Oasis related seems to be closing ranks. The official Oasis account on Insta seem to have purged a lot of people they were following. This seems to happen a lot with famous folk's accounts. I follow a few boxers and the biggest name ones seem to go down to following almost nobody when they're announcing a major fight or something. It always seems to be when management clearly takes over the accounts and suddenly they're only following a handful of people. Usually the broadcaster and promoters are the only ones they're left following. I guess there's some reason for this, i suppose some social media PR experts could tell us.

Now they've rinsed everyone for tickets I'd be surprised if they don't do this anyway and charge £30 to get access. More fortunes to be made. I read somewhere apple and Netflix trying to do tour deal with them so someone will be recording it

I don't live in uk so I don't know but is it really a big deal in the media this ticket mess or you're just overreacting? Ireland here. Politicians talking about it, on national news, radio shows etc Noel Rock TD used to go on every so often about challenging Ticketmaster. It’s all lip service. A couple of days and it’ll be gone from everyone’s mind.

I guess like the Made of Stone film by The Stone Roses though that really should have come with one of the Heaton Park shows as a second disc.

People still blame the actual band for the ticket mess? Do you also blame the football players for sonething FA does? Or ticket process for the game? The dynamic pricing is a Noel and Liam decision. The buck stopss at them. Why do people on here treat them like naive children Why do you think they are touring? Because they want to make a fortune! The whole tour is just about money. How many weeks ago was the photo shoot and how many times have they been seen together since? Things are obviously a little better between them but money is what is driving all this.Liam was charging £80 for an hour with John Squire.

If it's a tour solely based on money I'm out. The Stone Roses ended up going through the motions after the first tour. It would be sad way for Oasis to finish off.

I don't see why it'd be solely based on money. Why would Noel have held off for a decade and a half if that's all he cared about? I'm not saying it's not a factor, of course it is, but if that's the only thing that mattered he'd have been back with Oasis after like 3 years of being away (if that)

Did anyone really think this tour was about anything but money? Noel just had an expensive divorce. I didn't expect a reunion but the writing was on the wall practically. Just the way the world works, unfortunately. Let's hope they find their spark while on tour.

I bet Liam leaking the reunion details voided the contract. The reunion has been cancelled. We just don’t know it yet. Not a peep from either Gallagher about anything, not even a fresh trailer to kick this all off…. Please don’t embarrass us….. Thanks. Anyone else get a chuckle that the lads have sold 1.7 million tickets without even confirming a lineup? They are taking us for a ride…. Nobody cares that much about the line up pal. Oasis is Liam & Noel. That's it. Please don’t talk to my lover that way…. Thanks.

Circumstances have changed lately due to his divorce on a personal and financial level. How much it is to do with either one of those we don't know.

Just the way the world works, unfortunately. Let's hope they find their spark while on tour. The fact that he held off for 15 years tells me this goes a bit deeper. Personally, I'd defy anyone going through a divorce not to take stock and realise where they're at in life. When you're someone like Noel, who cut out both his siblings, it must make you feel alone no matter how much of a front you try to put on

Good God guys I agree with a lot of the complaints which have been made tickets-wise but our favourite band has just reunited after 15 years, could we have a bit of fun too?

I'm excited they're back. Even though I'd never really been bothered about it I still felt the heart pumping when I read the news.
Hopefully they'll be some new music as well

Let’s put it to a vote. Noel scrapping his acoustic album for a Rock album was the first sign…. then Liam on twitter hinting at it… and the recent Reddit Rumors…. It’s happening, lads. What Reddit rumors Check Reddit Gone Wild…. God bless.
