Listening trend for Oasis on last.fm: So what is the situation there then? Are droves of people doing a complete 180 on the band?

How in God's name do you leave 'The Masterplan' off an album. It still blows my mind to this day.

Think the band have personally dropped the ball massively on the dynamic pricing.
All positive headlines and accolades and they've burst the bubble due to greed.

I think all will be forgotten as soon as they say something about the tour they managed to sold out with no line up, no music, no interview and no explanation whatsoever about their intentions.

Speaking of drummers again, has that source that claimed Zak Starkey would be the drummer in the new line up given any other kind of update on this? I know someone here quoted this source from another forum, but I can't find the post again as it's deeply buried in this thread. People have already explained why Chris Sharrock would make sense, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they choose Zak Starkey. Others have mentioned that Noel said he would be his top choice for drummer (forgot the exact context) and Zak was at Liam's gig at the Koko in London recently, speaks extremely highly of him, posts pics of him on his Insta, so I think he's on good terms with both brothers. Yeah there was an interview w Noel in his studio (might have been the one with Zan Rowe on ABC in Australia, Take Five I think it was called) where he was asked to list his ideal band and he listed Zak as his drummer. It’d be unfair to kick Chris off the seat as he’s a phenomenal drummer, a seasoned workhorse of about 40 years now, and still in Oasis. Alan’s skills are dusty and he’s been playing in his attic for a couple of years.

I said myself "in one week it will be forget by everybody because others things will hit social medias, and the "instant culture" which predomine now will just clean it without waves... Except for hard fan who didn't succeed to get tickets (me? 😂). I prefer to laugh about it, even if it is not the case deep in me because all I faced with this farce 😅

Completely agree I guess my concern is that, if they don’t handle this right, its got the potential to fuck up their reputation in a long term way. As I said earlier, its like when people get done for tax avoidance. Years and years down the line, the public have a stick to beat them with.

The most chaotic outcome is they split again shortly before the tour, and it'll be months since everyone was charged and you get no refund. The ultimate heist.

Ok, maybe I overlooked the real impact because I'm not on social medias and didn't see really that is so strong.
Let's see.

It's a pissin joke and if Noel and Liam actually think forking out £1000 for two hours concer is sensible then they can shove it up their wonderwalls.
No surprise to see Marcus Russell's dirty hands over this.
From bean to cup, Ignition fuck up.

I think you’re all grossly misjudging this. The negativity, certainly that I’ve seen, is aimed at Ticketmaster. Whether correctly or incorrectly, most people are fed up with the entire TM experience and seem to be giving Oasis an easy ride.

In any case, I hope they will announce something fast and above all will announce it before the opening of the resale! (if it is new date)

Whether correctly or incorrectly, most people are fed up with the entire TM experience and seem to be giving Oasis an easy ride. Admittedly from what ive seen, about 85% of the negative attention does seem to be aimed at them. Which is fair enough, as many were prevented access to tickets by the crashes/technical issues, which were of course Ticketmaster’s fault rather than the band’s. But I feel that could change when the band actually speak out on the situation. They can’t stay silent forever, and when they do speak again people are bound to voice disapproval.
