Agree, I'm going and I'm looking forward to it, but this leaves a very very sour taste. I've already had a couple of mates message me about it, it's just really unnecessary bad PR and affirms in people's eyes that this is all about the money. The band would have had to approve this. It's an option Ticketmaster gices to the performer to choose. And the agents did not choose this without Liam and Noel's approval. Other artists e.g. Robert Smith have explicitly said before they didn't allow this. I think we have to accept it's about the money. We may not want to but come on, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duvk, talks like a duck...does anyone really believe by wome massive coincidence they happened to become best friends just as Noel finalised a huge divorce? Let's not be silly. It doesn't matter if he is still very very rich. He lives in a different world to us. With huge outgoings, and as someone else said, people once they have that wealth don't just accept losing half of it and not try to get as much of it back as they can. How many really rich people do you see going 'you know what, I actually have enough now, maybe I'll work for free'? And let's not downplay that Liam's enthusiasm for years has been very related to the money. He earned far less than Noel, probably spent a lot more than Noel on drugs, divorce, child maintenance etc. Oasis splitting up will have been very tough on him and even after his solo success the money will still be very useful to him. For the level of success he had in the 90s, Liam is nowhere near as wealthy as he should be because of a lot of bad decisions he made. Liam being so quiet, it being so managed, lack of interviews. This isn't a band getting back together to be a band. Sadly. Hell, we haven't even seen a 'band'. A band hasn't been mentioned. Just Noel and Liam. Not that I don't think Noel might enjoy playing to a huge stadium again. Buts that's a secondary benefit and I'm quite sure not his main draw. You don't have as much bad blood between two people as those two and suddenly become best friends overnight. I know some here want to believe that, but lets not be naive. Agree with all of this. So far, it sounds a lot like pride and greed. Liam is now a businessman, he's very polished to fork high priced tickets. Noel wants his crown back (and probably half his money gone in the divorce). I'll wait for the real part of the reunion to happen: the one with new music and hopefully smaller gigs. I said in 2020 it would go to shit when Liam started to sell those ridiculous "streaming" tickets to watch his River gig. We are there now, ridiculous prices to see nothing or barely. Just to be there. 4 tears later, Oasis sells 150 quid standing tickets, lower price. Welcome to cash grab. Youtube, a couch, good speakers, and its the same in your house. That'll do for me. for now. Indeed. There's a strange segment of this forum that thinks Liam represents the real fans against greedy corporate Noel. When Liam has been by far the more polished of the two for years now, been far more PR driven, made some very questionable ticket pricing decisions - those John Squier tour tickets were a disgrace for the length of the set. People think Liam was carrying the torch for Oasis and the fans or something. He was in a financial mess due to divorce, child support etc and basically needed a reunion. He was by his own admission in a pretty desperate way. This is all about money and they're both equal partners in it.

Please Alan, don't mess with us, I am dreaming about the reunion squad with him so much Calm down y'all. This doesn't seem to me to be any suggestion at all he's going to be there. Just that since the entire world is talking about Oasis and the 30th anniversary of that album, he's reminding everyone 'hey, I'm the guy who played on that!'. Just wants a bit of attention and recognition. Which I fair enough. I actually think posting this makes it less likely he's there, he'd just be pissing off everyone by spilling info if he was. They parted on very bad terms and haven't spoken since. There's as much chance of him being there as Tony Mccarroll. Whitey didn’t play on DM.

Whitey , bonehead , Noel, Liam and Russ on bass is the line up .. with guest appearances on tracks. The tour will be based round the first 3 albums , with tracks like Hindu times , Lyla etc played .. plus they will have new music …. Source? Trust me bro. Vespa has been writing opinions for the last week and passing them off as fact. One for the ignore list

It’ll be almost 100% likely the set list is just DM/WTSMG songs because those are the hits, but I think it would be funny if Noel has to play guitar on one of Liam’s solo songs There won’t be any solo songs in the set. You can put your house on that.

Oh I hope it’s gonna be him. I don’t like the other option I like Chris a lot, and of course he was the touring Oasis drummer in their last year, so he is deserving in my eyes. And I'm think Gem is a hell of a guitarist, I so like Gem a lot too. Personally I want to see both Bonehead and Gem up on stage, it's an Oasis rerunning so why not bring back all the members that want to take part? But the thing that gets me is, after all these years we are still not clear on why Alan White left. Was it good or bad terms? Was he asked to leave, or was it like his brother says? Liam and Noel put aside their feud for this, but was there one for White? I'm all for him to be in the reunion, after all he is THE Oasis drummer, and if I am not mistaken, aside from Tony, Alan was the only other drummer officially in the band, rather than a touring band member. Still, all of that to say, I'll be happy if it's Chris, and very happy to see Bonehead and Gem, but if Chris has to take a backseat because Alan's in, then cool. That does make sense.

All I ask for is 2000s representation on the setlist...
To Be Where There's Life would've been amazing, but it's definitely not happening.

I 100% don't want Russell in the group, wont be Oasis if he is. I know theres rumours of Noel wanting his bandmates but i think everyone would 'presume' its the 2 ex Oasis members (3 actually if you include the keyboardist). But 100% no to Russell In an ideal world Oasis stay reformed, bring out a new album etc but i can see it a bit like the Stone Roses comeback. Some huge gigs, 'maybe' a single or two but then they end on a high and they both go back to going solo We know Guigsy is out for sure, so in my eyes, Andy is the only choice. But if he doesn't want to, or isn't available, then I am completely fine with Russ. He's great in the HFBs, and he's "in the family" as far as I'm concerned. And frankly, he'd be the only new member, which a lot of reformed bands seem to have for one reason or another.

I think Little by Little or Lyla have a decent chance of being played! Obviously nobody knows exactly what is going to be played but big hits are obviously in with a shout. Just don’t expect Roll it Over or Part of the Queue.

I would want their whole career to be somewhat represented. And not have it feel like a "do you remember 1995?" tour.

99% likely it'll just be the singles for the 2000s representation. I would be content with any of the 6 DBTT and DOYS singles (the more the better)

They have plenty of great his from the first album, to the last, including as we all well know, b-sides on the singles. If they do this reunion tour and only play songs from DM & WTSMG, that would be a shame. It's a reunion, they need to hit the best songs of the career of the band. Layla Shock of the Lightening Masterplan D'You Know What I Mean? My Big Mouth All Around the World Talk Tonight Acquiesce Rockin' Chair Half a World Away Go Let It Out Little by Little Lord Don't Slow Me Down ... I'm sure I'm missing many great songs that they can add to the set list. I want to hear them play all my favorites live, not just pretend that they had only two good albums.

I want a mix of old and new.
Don’t tell me new songs can’t go over well - we’ve seen with Once and Wall of Glass and Dead In The Water that if the new ones are good enough, they can mix it with the big boys!
(Obviously nothing can compete with the absolute classics, but as Noel said paraphrasing Joseph Heller, I cant compare with the first two - but then no one else can either!)

Patsy Kensit on Drums for me, for the 90s songs, then Nicole Appleton, maybe Lily Allen for encore of Champagne Supernova

agreed! i have some hope they wont throw everything else out just because it's not from the 2 legendary albums. Huge wasted opportunity and the ones you listed have so much energy and hype.
out of everything, my biggest wish is Noel re-records Lock All The Doors with Liam's voice~
