So much for Don’t Stand By Me….. I don’t know if I totally believe this, seems a bit much for so soon. But we did know Noel was going to the South of France and that Liam has a place out there. So its not too far fetched. I guess it could be their first stab at spending more than just a short length of time together? Especially if Peggys going, as then therell always be someone to act as a bridge between them.

One million tickets available against a demand of around 40 million. In the best case scenario, if I did the math correctly, there is a 4% chance of success taking into account that a person could take a maximum of four coupons. Crazy Where did you get that 40 million number from ? Looking for a reliable source for the size of the demand. 14 million is the amount of applications being cited across the 3 websites selling tickets. That's what I've seen on most articles so who knows how accurate but for applications coming in around the world it makes sense for a limited number of gigs.

Hey friends, I'm from Toronto Canada and I was curious to know if I buy a pair of tickets from Viagogo which are clearly marked up, will my tickets be valid?
I'm just concerned about the stuff I read about tickets being canceled

It has to be Chris Sharrock right? Last Oasis line up, post Oasis played with both brothers. currently in Noel's band... It has to be Chris, it surely must be... Unless... ??

I'm just concerned about the stuff I read about tickets being canceled This is a gambling situation. How much are you prepared to risk it? How much can you afford to lose? The official resale Partner Twickets tweeted earlier that they will be releasing tickets soon, this would be a better option. Also, you have 10 + months until the tour starts. Alot can happen in that time and tickets may dramatically come down in price to more sensible levels when hopefully no one spends £6K on them. Edit: the fucking twitter fucking embed thing won't fucking work. here's a link: x.com/Twickets/status/1829822268622397915

Alan joining the reunion would be crazy. I personally think Chris is a better drummer than him overall, but Alan is just more........... ehm........... Oasis! (And he wouldn't just post the very bass drum used on the recording of Morning Glory out of the blue during such times, right? Right?)

It's easy to (unfortunately) wheel out Johnny Marr every now and then as it's just a guitar, seems odd to do the same for a drummer? 3 guitars is one thing but imagine having 2 drum kits on stage at an Oasis gig

Verve next please. Ashcroft get your head out of your ass! This is what I’m hoping for too! It’s my dream to see Ashcroft and Oasis play on the same night - it’ll be two birds with one stone.

The Verve supporting would be unreal. Ashcroft and his acoustic set before Liam at Finsbury Park was amazing.

And with how watertight theyve kept all this, idve thought Alan wouldve been forced to sign some sort of NDA on Oasis-related content. So im surprised anythings slipped out. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Ashcroft and his acoustic set before Liam at Finsbury Park was amazing. It would be great if The Verve would follow Oasis now with a reunion. Honestly, if Liam and Noel can reunite The Verve should be able to as well - there’s no excuse not to, I think! I’d love them to play The Rolling People, I think that song comes closest to Oasis’ anthemic rock energy.

Call me cynical, but shame on the Gallagher for allowing this ticketing shit to happen. Pure greed and the fact that there’s been no interview or word from either of them tells me that they are not doing this for the fans

How long you been a fan?? You will know that they will do the rounds when required, the dates were a tester and it’s passed with flying colours .. the ticket issue is the agents not the band .. quote author=" tezza198" source="/post/1762483/thread" timestamp="1725147172"]Call me cynical, but shame on the Gallagher for allowing this ticketing shit to happen. I find it hard to believe Gem won't be involved; but then again I was finding it hard to believe the drummer would be anyone else but Chris...

Call me cynical, but shame on the Gallagher for allowing this ticketing shit to happen. Pure greed and the fact that there’s been no interview or word from either of them tells me that they are not doing this for the fans I've seen so many people talk about the lack of content/doing the rounds etc and talking about it as if it's some kind of sign of things not being ok in the Gallaghers' camps, but here's my take on it. 1. I guarantee you Liam in particular will have been ordered in no uncertain terms to shut up and keep quiet until the dust has settled. The guy's renowned for saying far too much far too soon on twitter and also for putting his foot in it at any given moment by hurling stupid insults at Noel after a period of relative good will. They will not want him going anywhere near the media atm. 2. Noel's already got plans and, in my opinion, is more than entitled to a break to get his head straight and psych himself up for the upcoming year. 3. Drip-feeding content over an extended period of time is marketing 101, it ensures people are gripped and interested which is vital when it could all quite easily die down and fade into the background after the tickets have gone on sale, which of course they now have. 4. They're the Gallaghers! This is Oasis we're talking about and they do not need to promote themselves at this point. Of course they will, in good time, but as others have pointed out Guns N' Roses for example have done the bare minimum of press engagements too since the reunion. They really don't need to and are in a position to let the music do the talking

Right, it hasn't been a week since the official announcement and they've got a year out until any gigs. Not showing all their hype cards right away is to be expected. Shame about some ticket prices but I've completely expected this to be at least somewhat cash grabby, which is fine with me as long as we can see them live again.
