Sad if true. They seemed happy in the promo photos I'd say trust the promo pics over any of the baseless shit that the scum prints

Like I said. I always assumed extremely limited contact on tours since 2005 with the exception of green room and stage stuff. Would be something for the fans who have forked out to at least have a tv appearance or even brief moving image WITH audio of the brothers grimm together. Can’t wait for the big interview. Fascinating on why Noel decided to rejoin the band after a decade plus of hard “no”. Can it just be the divorce? That seems too simplistic. Then they can announce a comeback single and be #1 and loved by everyone.

If they play NYC/Boston, I could see the crowd being like 20-30% hardcore fans from the UK who've flown over. I feel like even the management themselves underestimated the demand.
Some tabloid said a good 14 million tried to get tickets. Croke Park itself had a half million in the queue - 1% of the population of Ireland.

I think they don't really know that much and just write whatever speculations they read online. They also first claimed that there would be no other original members joining but then later said Bonehead would also be there after everyone on the internet came to the conclusion that this would be the case. This makes them look clueless and that they're just making a lot of assumptions

LA will also get a decent amount of people from Asia, especially Japan and Korea, if they don't announce Asia tour dates prior.

If this is true, I understand. One would not even have to have a shaky relationship with their sibling to prefer this at Liam and Noel’s age, and especially at a tour of this magnitude, it’s just more convenient. And if they get on well, they’ll find ways to “connect” anyway. All I’m interested in is that we get interviews with both of them in the same room.

I do think age is a factor (not being ageist) but noels savvy enough to realise once goes over 60 and just gets older this gonna be even huger under taking and will the kids still wanna be apart of this movement as they both age up even more. also as said before even more cynically if he does choose to sell those oasis song rights all this isnt gonna make them any cheaper haha. IF done right this could adds multiple 10's of million in not more to that asking price

I have a New Yorker wife, so having missed out on UK tickets today, think I might have to invent a family trip to New Jersey to see the in-laws! ;D

I think it was a perfect storm of reasons to do it now for a huge cash-out. One main reason being - how many years untill them being so old it's just pathetic or physically to late to reunite and be standing up there under the OASIS backdrop.

Will be 58 next year. Everything is just aligning for a reunion now.

An absolute shambles of a process trying to get tickets. The Internet has ruined gigs. I've queued for 12 hours to get tickets for bands before. Had no chance today.
First available tickets were priced up to £355 each, "due to demand" which Ticketmaster have confirmed has been done with the approval of the band.
A disgrace. Been a fan for decades and can't afford to go. Working class traitors looking for some cash following their costly divorces. I'm so angry.

If the lads aren’t mates, what’s the point? 😔 Im in the middle about this. Like a lot of yous, I think it got to a point where they, Noel especially, felt it was now or never. Commemorate something iconic, before he’s too old and while Peggy is still alive. I also think having seen Liam keep the flame alive somewhat with the DM Tour and Knebworth 22, Noel maybe felt a desire to play the largest venues again. However, I do think it would have to coincide with them making up. Though Noel’s divorce cost him, hes not down to his last tin of beans as it is, plus he gets the back catalog soon. The fact it was inevitably going to net them shitloads was basically a happy accident.

Liam lost about £7.5m but that was in 2014 before he even went solo, i suspect he’ll have made that back by now. His divorce isnt all that relevant in this, as he asked Noel for a reunion back then to help him with legal costs and Noel refused.

Maybe I'm being too delusional but I can imagine Noel being a bit emotional while mixing the Monnow Valley and Sawmills sessions for the DM reissue, even enjoying the process. And in that pedal show interview on YouTube he admited he missed playing with Oasis. And of course there was lot of money involved.

Noel is at the MCFC match. No sign of LG unforunately. I know Liam has said he prefers to stay home to watch matches these days, but I always assumed that he'd been banned from attending due to past bad behavior, and "I'd rather stay home" was just cover. Am I the only one thinking that?

One million tickets available against a demand of around 40 million. In the best case scenario, if I did the math correctly, there is a 4% chance of success taking into account that a person could take a maximum of four coupons.

I think the dynamic pricing thing has been a bit of an own goal. Created unnecessary bad headlines. It is a bit of a piss take queuing for 6 hours only to find the £150 tickets you’d thought was ok actually costing £400.
