Abroad where? US will hardly be any cheaper and they’re not doing anything on the continent. US will definitely be cheaper. Not by much, but if it's true they're planning on playing US Football stadiums and outdoor venues, then tickets will be a lot more reasonable than the UK gigs. Generally ticket price wise, it should be about the same. greenday’s pit is 250, and 100 at the very top, I think it’s arena; ed sheeran’s stadium tour is 200 for ga if I remember, it doesn’t sold out so they release the top part at 75/50? later. Queen’s ticket at Philly is 500+ for front row GA, which is the only one I can think of having the same price as oasis package and it actually works, nyc Boston sold out, and then Philly sold out kinda just before the show. But queen is doing msg so…. Anything can happen at us ticket price just saying

All the ticket prices are on Seetickets; need to open up each venue to see the prices tickets.seetickets.com/tour/oasisHeaton Park is £148, there are hospitality and VIP packages being sold. Wembley standing is £151, cheapest seat is 74.25, with the most expensive being 206.25 (not including the hospitality and VIP).

3 new dates added! Wembley Manchester Edinburgh Will there be even more added once all these sell out? That’s normally the pattern.

Be cheaper to watch them abroad , uk is fucked Wrong way of looking at it. Pints of piss aside, I’d rather see Oasis in the UK. I saw the band in the US in 2008 and it’s pretty tame by comparison. You’re paying for an entirely different experience in the UK….

Hope the crowds are big enough there will still be plenty of people going for it.

The leak was true but that cause issues with the North American dates at the end of August if they get too close. The spacing of the shows tells me there is an eye on Liam's voice holding out here. The only thing I can think of is that they'll announce there will be another run of dates in 2026 so don't panic, there will be plenty more chances to see them. It's gonna finish at Knebworth in 2026 anyway, they could start in May 2026 with some european gigs then bring it back to the UK for a run of dates finishing at Knebworth in the August...

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a big gig but £151 is that really the going rate now?! That’s way above inflation surely?
I’m going to use the classic inflation tool measurement of a pint of beer. In 2002 when I went to see Oasis at Finsbury Park I think tickets were £28.50, a pint of beer by me cost about £2.40. Now a pint of beer costs about £4.80 (I’m in the midlands), so the gig should be £60 more or less! Please don’t tell me me method of measuring everything by a pint of beer is flawed!
All jokes aside I went to see Manics and Suede for £50 last month so £151 seems really excessive. I expected nearer £100 to be honest

"Oasis or Blur? Pulp mate. I'm so contrarian, intelligent and sophisticated. I'm better than you." (AI condenses Guardian comments into the above) So true. Except I've usually seen Suede put forward as the contrarian's choice. Either way it's cobblers. As great as both bands were -- and Blur too -- Oasis of 1994-96 had the devastating combo of Liam's voice, as it was then, and Noel's tunes at the point when he was physically unable to write a bad one. No one else stood a chance against the force of that.
"I guess it's like a fight. We were kinda like a fucking Mike Tyson band, y'know what I mean? We just come in fucking blazing, knocking eveyone out. We were never gonna do ten rounds, and it was never gonna get to points." - Liam
As an aside, I actually like Pulp and Suede too!

The Gallagher brothers live rent free in Simon Price's head.
He makes out, like his beloved Manics do, that's he's so into rock 'n' roll -- the spirit of it, the idealism of rebellious youth, the revolutionary potential... But really I think he just loves the clothes and the haircuts and the makeup. All the extraneous stuff that can be fun, but which doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. As Pete Postlethwaite says in Brassed Off, "It's music that matters!"
The Gallaghers simply wore the wrong clothes for Simon, in shades of green and blue, not black or leopard print. And they didn't honour the legacy of Bolan and Bowie by camping it up with eyeliner and feather boas. So discard the music, dismiss it out of hand, because they got all the surface level stuff, which is all he really cares about, wrong.
I suspect that Simon was bullied by kids whose behaviour resembled the Gallagher's public personas, and because he's never got over how those bullies made him feel, he's never permitted himself to give the music a chance. If that is the case, I get it, and sympathise. But at the same time it's rather churlish, and totally undermines his credibilty as a critic.
Simon is just a woke clown’s globalist puppet.

How’s this: Oasis Live ‘25 World Tour, with an 8th Oasis album that’s herald as one of Oasis’ best. They tour through to 2026 ending at Knebworth ‘26 and then disbanding on good terms to never be seen again. They can end it on a high at Knebworth, which some on here wanted back in 1996. That’s wild.

That’s wild. This is what I'm thinking will happen. They're adding so many dates as they didn't back in 1996 when they could / should have. Now they've got a second chance, they're just gonna go berserk. I guess Noel will be more than happy to go back to the High Flying Birds. Not sure what Liam will do after this though, as discussed, always thought his solo career was an audition to big brother that he's capable of working properly. Maybe he's made peace with one final tour and will quietly retire. Do we think Liam will still be Liam aged 60 or 70 with the parkas and all that carry on?

That’s wild. It's not a massively high bar but if they really wanted, they make easily their best album of the post 2000s. It is dependent on Noel writing the entire album, Liam singing 90-100% of them and some vibrant, ferocious, exciting production with somebody who knows the tricks (and that means no Sardy or Noel producing). Thing is, I'm sure the material is there. We as fans are the best judge of that and thats vindicated by relatively strong solo outputs songwriting wise. The frustrating thing is, they do the hard part, but Noel in particular falls flat on his face by making his tunes sound so lumpen and lifeless. Don't screw this opportunity lads, not while the world's eyes are on you again.

Don't think Liam would retire if Oasis didn't carry on. I think they will though. Liam is vastly different person compared to who he was 15 years ago. No drugs, barely drinks when touring, has Debbie by his side 24/7 to keep him out of trouble. He has grown up basically and if they can finally start filling stadiums in the US I don't think Noel will walk away either.
I also think Liam will release at least one more JS album, possibly even at start of next year with a quick tour before Oasis ramps up.
