That new wildlife series about Cheetahs is on BBC 2 on January 5th. I Googled it to find out, I'm really looking forward to it as I like Gordon Berchan and his wildlife programmes they're always good.

The lovely black birds were tweeting first thing this morning when I went up to Morrisons. They're always up early even when it's still dark in the morning.

I was thinking this morning about how I'm ready to wash my hands with this year... when I realized I had the same thought about a year ago: I wanted to wash my hands with the Fall 2019 university semester and move on to the spring, much like I now want to move on from 2020. I feel like it isn't a good reflection of who I am but it's been a long, arduous year for all of us, and I think being able to move on from the overwhelming negativity and pessimism in this year is important in feeling more positive, optimistic, and inspired next year.

I've got plenty of handwash which I of course use frequently at the moment and a lot more than I used to before Covid. Not that I never washed my hands before mind as I couldn't go without doing so. And, I've been using that Radox handwash in my kitchen for a few years now as I like that one.
I think that 2020 will be remembered for all the wrong reasons and it's been a horrible year having to deal with all this and sadly it's not over yet.

I read on the BBC news pages earlier that about 10 sperm whales had stranded off the Yorkshire coast. Four were still alive but sadly rescuers can't save them because of the bad weather and sperm whales are too heavy to lift. A spokesman said that the young whales were in very poor nutritional condition and most likely suffered a navigation error. This is so sad and I know that they can't save them but it's still distressing. The thing is sperm whales shouldn't even be in UK waters but sadly they often end up here.

I bet that the it was like a mad house in shops today, this is why I never go out on Christmas eve because I just can't be bothered with all the crowds especially this year with Covid around. The only thing I stepped outside today was to take the rubbish and recycle bags to the bins.

If I had a pet (which I don't) I would spoil it rotten especially at Christmas.
Remember though a pet is for life and not just for Christmas. I hate people who think it's ok just to dump an animal which they don't want anymore. Take them to a rescue centre there's no excuse or better still don't have a pet in the first place if you don't want it or can't look after it.

Awww, on BBC 2 now is The Snow Wolf, A Winter's Tale. It's about a she wolf who must flee her pack and embark on an incredible journey through the Alps while pregnant and find a new territory. I've seen it before but those wolf cubs are gorgeous. Bless them.
