Might as well start this thread now. 2025 reunion? Or another tacky badge?

I will also be turning thirty shortly before WTSMG. Terrifying. I better get a reunion tour out of it.

I guess we'll get something similar to what we recently saw for the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe, on the other hand I hope we hear several demos because it's something we didn't have 10 years ago, that or maybe we don't get anything

Seeing what they did for DM, there's nothing for me to be excited about.
I'm personally all for them reissuing the singles though, like with Supersonic. A Some Might Say 7" reissue would be an instant buy from me.

Well there is no alternate MG like DM, there is no bside left to release. So Noel will have to give us something a bit more New i suppose.
Same goes for BHN reissue which was pretty huge the last time. Maybe that rework he tried in 2016, and got back to doing it in full.

Lets not forget this 1995 tape owned by Brian Cannon* which apparently contains 6 versions of 'Wonderwall', a completely unheard song and "loads more". According to Brian Garcia who's heard the unheard song, the song is a... *Paul Gallagher also has a copy

Wonder if they’ll continue with the alternative covers. Remove the people from MG so it is an empty street? No band for BHN?

Wonder if they’ll continue with the alternative covers. Remove the people from MG so it is an empty street? No band for BHN? In general I like the idea of an alternative cover, but I hope if there's one for Be Here Now they don't remove the band again. Both the DM and Be Here Now album photoshoot have so many nice alternative pictures with the band and I hope they'll pick one of these instead of just the empty scenery again. The longer I look at the empty room on the DM reissue cover, the sadder I get

As much as Wonderwall is maybe frowned upon by some fans, it's still their biggest song and a really good one on top of that, so I think it would be cool if they would reissue Wonderwall as a single with the original Liam artwork. Yeah, Noel was against that artwork back then, but maybe not anymore. And them being against releasing something back then just for them to change their mind about it later, is naturally true for lots of stuff included in reissues anyway (stating the obvious here, but unreleased material is unreleased because they didn't want to put it out there back then). There are lots of outtakes from this shoot that could be used for a proper cover edit. Too lazy to look for them all now, but here are a few:

I’d imagine on WTSMG they perhaps recorded some alternate takes of some songs.
A 30 year BHN reissue might be difficult as they gave us the Mustique demos for the chasing the sun release which was brilliant, I’d lost hope and never thought we’d see it. What else is there? I’m not sure Noel would want to do a rethink of the whole album, DYKWIM was worth looking at as it was so long and far too much going on drowning everything out. I’d forgotten there was a string part on there buried in the mix and possibly played through a small amp. Not sure the other songs have so much buried in the mix.
20 plus years ago when the album was a bit less popular I would have wanted a full rethink of the album but now I like it for what it is, an overblown, cocaine fuelled celebration.
I still don’t think either the management, Ignition, or Noel know what they really have in terms of demos, sessions, live gigs etc.
The fact Noel won’t even listen to the tape Kyle gave him says it all. A ridiculous situation making excuses why he can’t listen to it.

Was it ever confirmed Liam did a take of DLBIA, or is that just myth / I’m making that up in my head?

Yeah, I agree with you about the 30 years of Be Here Now reissue as I don't think that there's anything else to release unless some miracle happens and they actually give us a live recording of a full concert as that's all I can think of.

Rethink of the whole album could be easily done by giving it to "Spike" Stent for example. Noel could just oversee the project if he can't be arsed mixing it himself. And yes, they should give us some unheard live recording, a full gig preferably. I'm just not sure which one.
