I didn't know this version existed until recently as I don't have a Spotify account and just came across it on YouTube. I love it, the tempo is just a bit faster and it really works. I love Noel's voice in general, so any time he rerecords a classic, I'm there for it.
It says that these two songs were recorded at Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, but the upload on YouTube sounds muddy compared to the more receiver Abbey Road offerings. Does anyone here have a Spotify account? If so, can you confirm if the recording on Spotify sounds better than the rip of it on YouTube? If it does sound better, I'd like to buy it, but I can't find it for sale anywhere, and I'm concerned that it may be a Spotify exclusive.

At this point I wouldn't say no to Noel making a whole Oasis reimagined album, but these Abbey Road sessions would be great as a continuing series as well. |

Are these Spotify Singles actually studio recordings? They sound more like spruced up live takes to me, but that could be YouTube quality issue

Really? I had to miss the Who Built The Moon tour, due to a big move/life change, so now this makes me a bit sad that I missed that. After that, life changed again and I moved back, and thankfully I made it to the Council Skies tour. I don't think I'll ever stop loving the Oasis versions, but when Noel puts a new spin on one of the classics, I can't help but be awed by it. It leaves us with twice the fun. |

This is great. I'd never listened to it before. Seems this tune really got sucked down into the bog that was the mood from the SOTSOG era. Really like this more upbeat take on it.
