I remember the title I Stand Alone already circulating back in the end of 2000, when there started to be rumors about the next album. End of 2000? Is it really that old? If so that's quite a jump in songwriting development for Liam, from Little James to Morning Son in the space of a year. That's how I remember it reading on oa515.com In the end of 2000 or in 2001. It's a pity that the site no longer exists and all the articles are gone. |

The earliest reference I can find to 'I Stand Alone' was an MTV article from late 2004. That's not to say it doesn't have an earlier origin though.

I'd have thought if he did then he'd also have done the backing vocals. I think Noel largely did his own demos and then rest of the band did Liam's. It's a decent quality demo, Liam's vocals were really good in the DOYS era. Cheers to everyone involved. |

Ample room on the album for both. I'm not a huge fan of TNOR tbh. I don't dislike it like some but it's not for me That song fucking sucks. Thanks. Also, not too keen on the Morning Son either, but it’s not as bad as TNOR. |

I remember during promo for DGSS, Andy said they didn’t realize until it was far too late the horrible grammar being used for the song and how he felt kind of embarrassed. Something like that. It always bothered me too. Sorta lazy. |
