OMG WE'RE SO BACK (no joke, 2 rock songs from the 90s making the top 10 of the charts, with the way they work now... only the band of a lifetime could do it) Yeah if you ask me, getting 3 singles in the top 11 is a bigger achievement than DM getting back to #1. As singles are so much more reliant on streaming.

A wonderful story, a song called “Live Forever” peaking 30 years after its release

I just listen to Shakermaker Monnow Valley. I have to say that I really that little Babababam drum filling! This Version sounds very charming to me. A shame that the Last Verse is still the Coca Cola song, otherwise the might could have used that Version for the Album. I like that we got the Coca Cola version here, as it’s written into Oasis lore. Shakermaker has grown on me over the years. Still the weakest on DM, but you can’t beat that middle eight…. I’m sorry but I just don’t knowwwwwww……

I wonder when he started singing the new lyrics? Was it the SOTSOG tour?

That Monnow Valley version of LF on the Def Maybe 30 album is outstanding, I think its better than the main album version personally.

Result with the Pearl LP, no creases anywhere, they used quite a hefty mailer, no 1067.

Has anybody had a good listen and made a "what's new here" guide yet?

Has anybody had a good listen and made a "what's new here" guide yet? The oasis podcast has a video discussing it and gives out some differences, I haven't been able to listen to the sessions, but that video seems a good starting point

What strikes me most on the Monnow Valley versions is how much Liam brushed off the "80s" way of singing after that. It's clear here he's trying to copy the style of the late 80s; Yet on DM its completely gone. I wonder how that came to be;
