I’ll be disappointed if the Limelight gig was just a tease for the Supersonic single. Holding out for 30th anniversaries of Shakermaker, Live Forever and Cigarettes and Alcohol, but considering they already dropped the pre-orders for the album… not looking good

It's great to see Brian Cannon back working with Oasis. Beautiful pictures.

The audio is the 2014 remaster Yeah, I'm out. That's ridiculous. Literally the same version in the Chasing the Sun boxed set. I'm not spending $65 plus S&H for bonus tracks. GTFOH!

Did you expect any different. We all keep buying the same version of the same album over and over and over and over again. We are the original Taylor Swift army of merch buyers. Fear us.

There should have been a live gig from the early days as a bonus disc too. Assuming this is all we are getting

This scene from The Simpsons reminds me of these disappointing reissues. £100 plus quid for that? GTFO!
Will give the demos and what have you a quick spin on Spotify and nothing more.

It’d be nice if there more demons than ‘Sad Song’, but the Rolling Stones are still releasing material from albums that were originally released over 50 years ago, so….
God bless.

Heaven Knows is a recorded and unheard song. It is mentioned as missing in the liner notes of the Live Demonstration Tape reissue from 2014 by Mark Coyle along with Must Be The Music, Coning On Strong and Lock All The Doors… www.discogs.com/release/5586643-Oasis-OasisYou read a scan on the discogs link. I've already heard the leaks, but I'm still pleased that we will get an official release of Monnow Valley + Sawmills and maybe the leaks are not exactly the same as the stuff on the reissue. I hope the Columbia Sawmills outtake is like the leak though as I really love that the chorus isn't double tracked and only has Liam's falsetto. And I'm very happy that we'll get the Sad Song demo with Liam on vocals! I still really wish though that this reissue would also include the songs listed above that were removed from the Live Demonstration Tape reissue along with some other early unreleased Oasis songs like Take Me, Colour My Life etc. Add to that the Live Forever demo (Loco Studios) and All Around The World (1992). All of that along with Monnow Valley, Sawmills and Liam's Sad Song would have really made me go "WOW!!" Btw I wonder if Mark Coyle has more early Oasis gems in his archive besides Liam's Sad Song. I'm not 100% sure on this anymore, but I think years ago I read somewhere on this forum that Coyle has a tape of their legendary King Tut's Wah Wah Hut gig. It would be amazing if this gig were on this reissue as well. The little video snippets that are on YouTube sound wonderful.

They wouldn’t include everything from the archives in one set, there mightn’t be much left and they will release a 35th and 40th anniversary, we got a new demo people have wanted out for a while , new session tracks, and new artwork , we normally get a picture disc and colour LP, I’m happy what we got this time round.

There is a third colour variant as well apparently according to Sony Japan, titled Digsey’s dinner colour , ha, yet to be found ! 🤔 I think the Digsy's Dinner variant is the pink ("strawberries and cream") one. Feel so ripped off with this release. Where’s the LASAGNE coloured version!? 🍝

This. This release is way more exciting than we could have realistically hoped for seeing as we got diddly squat for the SOTSOG or HC 20th anniversaries. Gems like Colour My Life and See The Sun will come later on an Anthology type release.

I'll probably just buy the new Sad Song mix as an individual download (I still load music onto an ipod to listen to). All the other mixes are things I'm curious to hear, but know I'll only listen to once or twice, so I'll just check them out on Spotify.
I'm sure they'll dig out another few things for future reissues, but realistically I think I'm at the stage where anything I'll listen to a lot from that era is already out there now.
