Or Liam or Noel solo, or Beady Eye, or I guess any other song either of them has appeared on. Just a thread to share thoughts on whatever individual song has your attention.

Mine for today is Rattling Rose. That line "She took a trip on the mother ship / and she never came home" with the big drop on the last word really works for me, but the whole song has been, well, rattling around in my head for days.

Been hammering Just Another Rainbow since it came out.
I’ve loved Liam’s solo career, but this really is my thing.

Roll With It. I've always dismissed it as the weakest/most throwaway song on WTSMG but a few weeks ago it just clicked

The Masterplan, what a song.
I always loved it but I recently listened to it for the first time in a very long time and... I honestly believe it's one of the greatest songs ever created.

It's difficult to choose just one, but I can say that Columbia is always at the top of my obsessions when it comes to Oasis and their sound. For the rest there are tons of Just Another Rainbow in my head at the moment.
In general, the post-Oasis songs that obsess me are: Diamond in the Dark, Everything's Electric, Why me Why Not (song) and Greedy Soul (Live version)

Hey Hey My My - Familiar to Millions
Had it on repeat all week. Don't know what inspired me to put it on in the first place. But have been loving it.

Talk Tonight.
Been listening to a lot of NG's solo stuff (and his gigs with Gem around STC era) and this tune always stands out to me.
Love his TCT gigs ...and also the fact that he continues to do them.

Dead to the world
Funnily enough it was disc 2 of Council Skies I have been listening to this morning with the instrumental version, but my head decided to sing along.

Roll With It. I've always dismissed it as the weakest/most throwaway song on WTSMG but a few weeks ago it just clicked Better late than never ! Never understood the dislike for that song. Its not an obvious single, but still a 90s gem. Good that it clicked finally The song i never tire of listening from Oasis is... Bonehead's Bank Holiday. Its so different from the rest of the catalog, and it was THE song to have in the 90s. I had bought the vinyl in the shop and coming back home, i found out that... 1 of the 2 vinyl had been stolen. Of course it was the one with BBH on it. So i had to get back to the shop to swap it. It was very, very stressful

Roll it Over - Knebworth 22. It's never sounded so epic.

Mars to Liverpool! Because he brought back the best Oasis by mixing WTSMG with BHN! I still can't believe this is true!

Roll it Over - Knebworth 22. It's never sounded so epic. I've been listening to that this week too. The album version is fine, but that live version is absolutely amazing.

Roll it Over - Knebworth 22. It's never sounded so epic. One of my favourite from Oasis. That band rarely sounded better on record than live (we can debate Liam's voice but that's not the point here). This amazing song could only get better live and Liam did a bang-up job with it! The real backup singers play a big part of it's epic sound too. Hey, Jay even plays the solo correctly! Can't argue with that!

It's such a great song and the perfect album closer. Liam did a great job and gave the song justice when he played it live on his last tour.
