Nope, but it's Noel, what do you expect? A double album? I expect songs which are named part 1 to have a part 2. I expect songs that have “Also Known As” in their title to have a second title. I expect too much 😂 ''(Also) Known As'' Fixed it for you

Okay, okay, I expect songs that have “Also Known As” in their title to not have their full titles buried away in the paperwork on a limited bonus disc on a live DVD a year after their official release.

To me, this is one of the most beautiful songs Noel has ever written.
I must have different taste to most of this forum...
I prefer this to most of Noel's full bodied work.
To me, his stripped-back songs are much more beautiful, powerful and emotive.
This was the magic that made Oasis so much more than loud noise.
One of his most intimate and warm vocals, and finally a more truthful lyric, poetic and classy - it's powerful
Not at all vague or random or cringey as his album work has come across.
For fans, this is certainly a real invitation into the truth of how Noel is feeling right now in his world.
Thank you chief, it's a very beautiful song.

I also hear the lyric "in a little while, we'll be free" as yet another one of Noel's thinly disguised writings about feeling open or warm towards one day dying There have been quite a few references now...
A spiritually peaceful, and typically wistful, touch. Only to be noticed by those who would notice.

It's a bit too "soft". Noel's acoustic songs are an important part of Oasis : Sad song, Half the World Away... etc I dont think anyone is denying that.
But they always had a bit of an edge, gritty. Now Noel is now leaning towards bubblegum ballads. They are completely SOFT, like if something had used too much softener to wash their clothes.
It's ok if its one song here and there, but the whole catalog is like that lately.

It's a pretty song. I think that's the best qualifier "Pretty". The guitar and piano on the verses make it sound like it's Dead to the World's little sister. At first, she seems to be like her elder sibling but not at all. Where Dead to the World was heart-wrenching and still is to me, this one is just pretty.

I really like the song. It’s been stuck in my head the last couple nights. It is simple, it is basic, and it is definitely a b-side but that is just fine. There’s nothing wrong with that. Even if it is the kind of song Noel could write in his sleep, that’s fine. I like those kinds of songs (“just let it come down over me” being a perfect example) and I also like the bigger productions like “think of a number” and “open the door..”. There’s room for all.

Very nice, could be a lovely Oasis b-side in some alternate universe.

I absolutely adore this song. This is the side of Noel I enjoy most, the heartfelt, melodic, romantic side. This reminds me of Oasis b-sides more than his recent NGHFB stuff, and he sings it beautifully. Poignant yet nostalgic.
When we talk about singing voices on this forum, we often focus on Liam. But it really has to be said - Noel has an incredible voice for songs like this, really cuts into your soul. Takes me back to songs like “Take Me Away” where you can really hear the pain and beauty in his voice.

If this is the direction Noel is heading towards then Just Let It Come Down Over Me really HAS to be on the next album. It's perfect.
It's crazy that he's not used it as a b-side or album track already. Over 10 years ago it leaked.

I made this "final version" of the song with the full band.

If Noel does go through with his long lusted over "acoustic" album then I want him to put a studio recording of "Dead In The Water" on it. He said he was going to record it proper when doing bonus tracks for his best of but then shied away at the last second. This song deserves a proper recording. Too much reverb on the live radio track. It is like Noel is singing it in the bathroom 15 feet down the hall from where the studio mic is. And yes, "Just Let It Come Down Over Me" should be on the album as well.

But if Noel was to make an acoustic album, he needs to change the way he records. Go back to his roots and lose the "modern magic". Release an analog record.

The more I listen to it the more I like it and I hope it stays as a demo, because there's a magic to this recording that I don't know if he will be able to translate into a full studio version.
On January 1st at 5am I was flying home and I listened to this song for the first time as the sun rose for the first time of the year. Midway through the song, the sunlight begins to stream through the windows, and suddenly, an orange glow slowly fills the plane's seats. In the windows there are nothing but clouds. Most of the passengers are sleeping and I feel like I'm the only one awake witnessing the beauty of it. It was a perfect soundtrack for a perfect moment.

Dude, listening to music watching the sky, the clouds or the sun in a plane is the best feeling ever. So peaceful. I love it. I used to do the same with Bob Dylan. How can you sleep when there is THAT just outside your window. It really puts things in perspective. We are small.

There's a short clip of Noel rehearsing In A Little While on YouTube. I only know about it because it was in my notificications yesterday. I would love the full video to be released.
